Elixabeth sat in the empty common room, silently flipping through the pages of a large leather bound book. Gold emblazoned lettering adorned the spine reading "The Histories". The pictures inside depicted great battles, women being burnt at the stake, and numerous rituals by the full moon. Sighing, she lifted herself off of one of the sofas and decided that it was about time that she went to bed.
"It is rather late." she said, stifling a yawn. "Good night."
She made her way to the girls dormitory, dresses as quietly as she could, and climbed in the four post bed. Before she drew the heavy green curtain, she silently thanked the Goddess and blessed her mother, where ever she was. Then sleep claimed her.

When she awoke it was still rather early, too early for all the other students to be awake. She climbed out of bed and thanked the God for the day ahead of her. Deciding that her grandmother might be in need of news, she wrote a quick letter, got dressed, and made her way out of the common room to the rest of the school. The Owlry was her destination.

Just as the wall closed firmly shut behind Elizabeth, another in the Common Room opened. It was the heavy oak door that lead into the Boy's Dormitory.
Soon footsteps could be heard moving down the steps in a slow, almost regretable fashion. Soon, Draco Malfoy stood at the foot of the stairs, his eyelids still weighed down with sleep and his blonde hair elegantly disheveled looking. He was dressed lightly in the uniform pants and white oxford, the top few buttons askew.
His pale face stretched into a yawn as he reached up with one hand to button the remaining buttons on his shirt save for the very top one. A little more awake, his grey eyes scanned the Common Room, and a wry grin broke onto his face upon realizing that it was empty.
He sauntered over to a couch before the fire and jumped over the arm, landing squarely on the first cushion before proceding to stretch out like a cat and grap a copy of the Daily Prophet someone had left behind on the table before him.

Elixabeth looked over her shoulder down the halls of Hogwarts. She hoped that no one would see her. The last thing that she needed was for someone to see that she was covered in owl droppings. It was going to be a horrible day and she knew it. Her great owl Emancipher had been spooked by something and knocked her to the ground. Now she was covered head-to-toe. Sighing she offered the password and quietly entered the common room, only to see Draco Malfoy lounging on the sofa and reading the Daily Prophet.
Dammit!

Grudgingly as he heard the door open, Draco sat up, brushing his blonde hair from his eyes and sighig dramatically. After a moment he caught a look of the other Slytherin in the room and let out a loud, warm laugh at her expense.
He laid back down, still smirking, and decided it was okay that she had disturbed his solitude because she looked ridiculous, and he could always use a chuckle.

Miriam entered the Common Room, muttering to herself while rubbing her cheek, where a bruise was beginning to show. "Damn Peeves and his aim."
She walked over to a chair closer to the fireplace, and sat down with a sigh. She reached back and began pulling her hair out the tight bun she usually wore, letting the red curls fall wild over her shoulders. She did a double-take when she saw Draco, but said nothing, merely shrugged as she pulled a book out of her bag, and began reading, playing with one of her curls.

As Miriam entered, Draco frowned. This room was getting a bit stuffy for him. If one more meek and injuried girl wandered in, he would be out and in search of some excitment. Wether that would come in the form of jinxing the firsties, a frisky Ravenclaw girl, or throwing pudding at Potter and the Golden Trio, he had no idea. But this was getting boring and he was almost done with his paper.

Zoe walked into the common room and found a seat. She was slightly unhappy, as she had no other clothing other then the clothes her mum had made her pack. It was funny how things seemed boring when you were dressed boring.

Draco folded his notebook upon the entrance of Zoe and sighed. "Merlin, couldn't an attractive one atleast walk in?" He muttered greedily to himself and stood up, brushing off his black pants and rubbing the last bits of sleep from his greys eyes, heading towards the portal.

Zoe watched Draco stand up and begin to leave. She would normally think of some way to annoy him further... but she just wanted decent clothes. So she tore the girl's dorm apart looking for half decent clothng to get her through the week. After some searching, she found some jeans and a tanktop and was satisfied. She figured she'd head over to the Great Hall now.
((but not now because I have to go >.<))

Elixabeth blushed and dashed to the girl's dormitory, clutching her chest. Once inside she grabbed her wand from where she had left it and muttered under her breath "Scourgify." She was clean again, at least for the moment. Sighing for what seemed as the fiftieth time that day, she snatched up a few books and walked herself out of the dormitory, out of the common room, and out of the school to sit under the tree by the lake. For some reason things just couldn't sit right these days, as if everything was out of whack.

Snape was on his way to the Slytherin Common room to place the sign-up sheet for the quidditch team and the dates for Hogsmeade. When he got to the door he spotted Draco. "Mr. Malfoy, I trust you are going to be playing quidditch again this year? I expect you to give Potter a run for his money this time."

Miriam glanced at Draco form over the top of her book. "Careful, Prince of Prats. Calling a woman unnatractive could be your downfall." She turned as she saw Professor Snape walk in. "Good evening, Professor." She flipped a page, and went back to reading.

"Good evening to you too," Snape said while using his wand to attach the fliers to the message board. When he finished he looked around the common room. "I see a few students who need to work on their essays for my class since it is due tomorrow!" He noticed a group of fourth year girls stopped gossiping and picked up a quill and parchment.
