Edward strolled around the Common Room. He didn't want to go to the Great Hall, knowing that he would just come straight back and go to bed-


...Again.

Without any warning at all, Ed turned on his heels to face Luna. "Hello!" Edward said brightly.
"My hair? Well, actually that is a very funny story, and, might I add, a very good conversation starter," Ed chuckled, "Well, as everyone knows, nobody knows that they are a wizard, or witch, of course, until something spectacular happens. Well, my event happened in Kindergarten. Some boys made fun of my fondness of the color pink. To scared to stand up for myself, I turned around angerly, as my hair started changing a pinkish color. The bullies found this funny and howled with laughter, in which I, accidently, got so angry and embarassed that their hair was turned a permenent pink color as well as mine." Edward said, enjoying the story. He smiled even bigger, "And that's how my hair is pink. I'm Edward, by the way!"

"Well, actually, I think their going through their 8th grade year with pink hair... unless the ministry fixed it." Edward replied.
"Or maybe it wasn't permenant and it wore off after they transfered schools. I'm not sure, but I've kept my hair! For 9 years my hair has been pink and I wouldn't let that change," Edward said happily. He liked thinking that the bullies were at muggle school with pink hair.
"Anyways, do you want to come down to the Great Hall?" Edward asked, "I'm starving!"

"Well," Edward said, through the cracked boys dorm door, while putting on many different types of clothing, "This is my fourth year a Hogwarts, fourtenth, almost fiftenth, year of my life, and my pet is a barn owl named Zoe."
He stepped out of the dorm while slipping on his purple hat. "Of course, it's just Zoe. Not Zoey, Zoe. Zoooe," Edward said, making sure the point stuck. "So, shall we go?" Edward asked as he started to walk out the common room.

*after being sorted in the headmaster's office, Harvina went up to the Ravenclaw common room to meet her new mates. Her old friends were great, but the often picked on her for being a know-it-all and smart so she was particularly excited to meet new friends. When she entered through the portriat hole, she spotted a boy with blackened hair on the couch. She smiled innocently and sat in the chair with her new kitten, Gypsy* [Luna gave it to her] *Gypsy hopped off the chair and on to the couch where Edward lounge and crawled into a ball on his chest, purring excessively. Harvina laughed at Edward's odd look on his face*

"looks that way doesnt it. She loves new people. I'm Harvina, by the way. Harvina Walker. I already know who you are, Edward Kenneth, right? somoeone was talking about you in the corridor saying you were inside the common room.."
*she noticed she may have been talking a little too much, so she stopped. and started to think, spacing out and staring at a random spot on the floor. Anyone who knew her noticed that when she thinks like this, she bites the right corner of her bottom lip. [her right, your left]
' I wonder what Draco is up too, mum wants me to marry him..he's cute..not husband type tho...but hes really gorgeous..I wonder if he's single..' is what she was thinking*
