A Bit About Him/Her : Thea's pretty shy and sensitive (Especially after her mother died), It takes her time to adjust to new people, but once she has, Thea is extremely loyal and becomes more extroverted around them. her oldest sister Alice, ran the household after their mother died three years ago. Thea didn't have much to do, so she spent much of her time reading- one of the reasons she was sorted into Ravenclaw. Thea doesn't really like taking much time with her clothes- she just throws on whatever's handy. She wears almost all black clothes in respect for her mother. Thea doesn't mind being a loner, matter of fact, she tries to exclude herself. Usually she just ends up becoming invisble to everyone around her (Not literally, she just sort of fades into the background). However, Thea is pretty, once you see her. She has long black hair she pulls up into a bun and a humanly lyrical voice. She's definetly not drop-dead gorgeous though, just girl-next-door pretty. She DOES NOT like being disturbed while she is reading or studying, nor does she particularly care for flying...yet. She doesn't like practical application, either-she chokes up and bullies herself. She's a pureblood, who likes peace and quiet, her cat, and defense against the dark arts. She usual gets louder when people fight, attempting to become the mediator. When things get out of hand (or you do something to really annoy her) she has been known to break out of her shy self, and become hot-tempered, with a tendancy to throw things.

A Moment By Himself/Herself : Thea sighed and turned the page of her potions textbook. Everything was so EASY in theory! Theory resided in the mind, where most couldn't see it. Practical application, however, was horrible. Her mind glided back to the previous afternoon.
/All around her, people were turning in their potions. Not all of them were great, some of them were just horrible, but at least they were done. Now everyone began packing away their books, staring right at her. Thea's hands shook. 'It shouldn't be this hard,' she thought, 'I know how to do this- I really do! So why--?' Tears splashed down the young girl's face and into her potion. "No," she said, her voice louder than usual, but still very soft, "No!" Her potion turned from spring green to tar black. It began to reek, like low tide. Its consistency, which had been watery only seconds before, turned sludge-like.../
So that's why she was up here, in the 1st year dormitories, studying like mad, while everyone else was at dinner.
