Rehema laid stretched under a smooth rock, licking the remainders of their dinner from her paws. She hesitated, glancing over their claws critically. She was always very picky about her appearence. While having a blood stained maw and pair of paws made her look fearsome, it was simply indecent to leave it crusted on for too terribly long. Once satisfied, she yawned, flashing a set of teeth before settling down and laying his chin down on his paws.
Malik, on the other hand, was gnawing viciously at what remained of the leg he'd claimed for himself. No meat left, he'd been at it for a while and some of it was beginning to splinter. Seemed a hobby of his, or just a way to take out some frustration on something that wouldn't actually bleed. After a while he'd even start to growl.
"Oh must you do that before morning?" She groaned, rolling herself over onto her side and flopping a large paw over her eyes. She works all night and come daytime when any decent lion was to be sleeping- Malik goes and makes a barbarian of himself.
Malik paused, bone still in his mouth, a bit of dribble escaping his maw as he slowly looked over.
"...I mean it." She snapped without so much as lifting her paw.
"...maaan." He dropped the bone, licking at his chops as he stretched himself out. Ona had wanted to talk with him... soon as the little lion was done with his meal they could get to talking.

Ona's appetite hadn't been as big as it usually was. He simply picked at his meal, finishing it slower than the others. By the time he was finished he was full but those damn butterflies wouldn't stop flittering around in his stomach. He glanced towards Rehema and saw that she was already dozy.
Then, he raised his head to glance at Malik. It looked as if dinner time was over for him too. Poor Malik. He couldn't help but give a silent laugh at those two. Always getting on one another's nerves yet so clear in their love for one another. He sighed and then gave Malik a look in an attempt to remind him of the talk he had promised him.
Would he remember?

Malik caught the look that the little lion gave him and nodded, bending down to pick up his bone before walking himself off. Not too far away, he never went too far from Rehema and really with only three lions in the middle of the mountains he wasn't going to risk it. She'd be within earshot but it seemed like she was getting ready to nod off anyway.
He cleared his throat a bit and nodded away, a quiet gesture for Ona to follow.
Rehema only sighed, both ears relaxing back against the cape of her neck. She was still pretty tired from the hunt still. And with the sun coming up she could take full enjoyment of a full belly, warm sunlight on her, and stretching out across a flat slab of stone.

As soon as they were out of earshot, Ona began to speak. He worried the earth with his claws, his eyes darting nervously back to the chocolate lioness' direction.
"Malik. I need to talk to you. You're the only one who know who might not know what's going on! Maybe I'm sick or maybe I'm allergic to brown fur or I...well...I don't know!" He didn't seem to realise he was making no sense at all. He sighed, drooped his ears and slumped to sit.
"Help!"

"'ey, 'ey, slow down kiddo! Yer gettin' scrambled a'fore ya even started tellin' me what's the problem." He plopped himself down on his rump, holding his chew bone down with a paw. He'd gnaw on it later but he didn't want to just leave it...have someone take it. "Now take a nice deep breath... den explain what's goin' on."
Rehema lifted a slow eyebrow, lazily rotating an ear out. Now what were those boys up to? Maybe they were still hungry. Too bad, that'd have to wait.

((omg I'm so sorry for my last post. Just realised that what I typed made no sense what so ever xD !! ))
He took in a deep breath, as told, and released it in a sigh, curling his tail around so it lay in his paws. Now, what should he say? How should he start?
"I think I'm sick!" He blurted then. "Sick in my stomach or something. You see..." He hesitated. "Well...I think I may be...allergic to Rehema or something. Every time I go near her my heart and stomach feel funny and I didn't want to say because I didn't want to make her sad. What should I do?"
Poor Ona. He'd never had anyone to tell him what love was. Why his heart beat faster, why butterflies flitted in his stomach. All he knew was that it was a rather nice feeling, but one he was slightly worried about. Was this normal?

Rehema frowned a bit, both eyes opening up. Allergic?! Of course her back was to where the two were talking and to the untrained eye she'd look like she had nodded off in the sunlight. She remained silent but turned an ear slightly back to keep tabs on the conversation at hand.
Malik on the other hand began to chuckle, then outright laugh. A thick, deep sound that was strangely pleasant coming from him. similar, in fact, to his uncle Mufasa's laughter. "Ahh kiddo I really don't know how ya survived out 'ere. Guess I can't blame ya though."
He wiped at something in his eye and dropped his thick paw back to the ground. "Akay so I'mma gonna go out on a limb 'ere an' assume what'cher feelin' is what my old man calls 'da birds an' da bees'. Ya see dat feelin' in yer gut's ya wantin' tah get'cher mojo on, no?" He kind of nudged Ona, "Eh? Know what I mean?" (( No worries hon. xd ))

(( This could have been the shortest post ever: Ona: "Uhhh...no" xD ))
"Old man? Birds and...bees?" Okay so the poor little lion was very confused and beginnign to think that perhaps this hadn't been a very good idea after all. But Malik was the only one he could turn to since Kucha was...well...a bird and Rehema was the source of thsi conversation.
His ears drooped. Was he really so out of the loop? Malik spoke as if he should have known exactly was he was talking about. Truth was, he didn't. He'd been practically a hermit his whole life, since his parents had died and he'd never been in the company of others. He'd not ever been taught the ways of life, being far too young for that topic when his parents were still around.
And when asked if he understood, Ona'raha had no choice but to be honest.
"Not really...no."

"Oye kid..." Malik slapped a paw against his face, kind of rubbing at his eyes before returning it to the ground, "Okay so ya gotta learn th' basics. Ya said it makes yer tummy feel all weird n' yer heart starts a'goin' right? Means ya...well..." He reached back to scratch behind an ear. It was like the talk his dad gave him...though Malik had yet to actually experience it. Boy talk Mwali had called it.
"Okay well I'll put it frank. From where I've been sittin' it looks like ya got a thin' fer her. Ya know? Ya get all stupid around 'er an' ya get all nervous-like. Yer heart gets goin' an' yer tummy starts turnin' 'cause ya wanna you know.. start... thinkin' about doin'...adult things. Ya know? Das what Pa told me. 'When ya start gettin' yer mane in ya start gettin' dose urges-' dat whole thing."
URGES!? Rehema almost forgot herself for a moment, very tempted to turn around and give them both a piece of her mind. Urges!? Ona...impossible. The lion didn't even know where cubs came from! She'd bet any number of kills on that one.
(( XD Poor Ona lol. ))

(( *is laughing out loud* I lOVE Malik! xD ))
Now Ona was feeling worried. Urges. Urges didn't sound good. They sounded uncontrollable and mean! His head drooped down between his shoulders fearfully.
"Malik that sounds scary! Poor Rehema! She's really going to hate me now! M-maybe I won't be like other lions? I-I Well..." No. As nice as it felt being around Rehema he would not do anything to upset her. He wasn't exactly sure what this 'thing' was that Malik was talking about but the big gold was making it sound like he might attack her or something.
"Have you been through this...'mad' phase Malik?" Maybe if he had he could tell him how to stop it.

"Scary!?" Malik threw his head back to laugh, "Ahh kid naw ya got it all wrong up in yer head. Okay les start from th' top." He reached a paw out, pulling Ona a bit closer, "Okay, what'cher feelin' is normal. Not bad less ya wanna do somethin' bad den ya gotta be concerned. You dun wanna do nuffin' bad, I don't think ya' got it in ya tah tell the truth. What'cher feelin' is..." He wrinkled his nose up a bit, "Dat...fuzzy warm stuff...ya know... th' fuzzies." Rehema dug her claws into the ground, glaring backwards but she didn't move otherwise. He was confusing the kid... damnit maybe she should step in before Malik made it any worse. She could only imagine Ona's face though...
"An naw, I ain't got dem fuzzy feelin's yet. Ain't found no lioness worth it. Reh's nice an' all but we grew up tahgether. I'd be like doin' da nasties wif yer sister ya know?"

He allowed himself to be tugged forward by Malik's great paw and shifted, trying to get a better grip of what Malik was saying. "Fuzzies?" Well that word sounded nice and friendly. He smiled. "Well that's a much nicer word than urges."
He nodded as if he understood but his eyes were blank. "So Rehema won't...mind about it then? I just want it to go away but it won't and I'm afraid she might leave if she found out." He looked saddened at that.
"Maybe I'm cursed to be all alone." He murmured this mostly to himself though it was audible.

"Idiot..." Malik growled, slapping a giant paw against his face. "Akay kid..yer gonna hate me right at first, but'cher gonna thank me in da long run. Kay."
Malik grinned and turned towards Rehema, "EY REHEMA! ONA 'ERE'S GOT THA HOTS FOR YA!"
Rehema rolled her eyes. Oh yes, now they thought she could hear them. Best play along with it. She lifted her head, her eyelids falling partway to further the appearence of having 'just woke up'. She let out a long yawn and turned towards them, both ears rotating forward. "Hmm?"

"Eep!" Ona felt his heart clench fearfully. He wouldn't...would he? Oh my gosh, he WAS!! "No, n-no Malik..." But it was too late. The lion's large, deep voice formed the words easily and filled with a feeling somewhere between fear and embarrasment, Ona dived behind his larger friend and hid behind him.
When he heard Rehema's tired 'hmm?' he prayed that she hadn't heard, though he was sure once she woke up fully she'd realise.
His heart hammered and he peeked out from behind Malik's collossal form.

Malik chuckled and simply plopped himself down along the ground, exposing the now very embarrassed Ona. If the small male cared to glance down to Malik- or more likely, glare down -he'd see the lion displaying a perfectally innocent smile.
Rehema sighed, pushing herself to her paws casually. She walked herself over smoothly, stepping over Malik -and taking a moment to slap him in the face with the white fluff at the end of her tail- towards Ona. "Walk with me.".
