I love the retro look, so I'm happy. whee
I must admit, I wasn't too overwhelmed at first, but on closer inspection, discovered that there are ones that I do like rather a lot. Though the Pompadour style was a shame because I fancied that one, until I decided that it made my avatar's head look too square.
Anyone else got an opinion on them? Got one/intending to get one or not? Do tell.

Most of 'em I didn't care for, though there were some that were nice... not nice enough where I'd change my hairstyle mind you, but they were good nonetheless. ^^ I really did like the streak one and actually did slightly consider changing to that, but in the end I'm just too attached to my boyish hairstyle. <3

I can't really imagine you with different hair anyway.
Of all of them, the streak one is the one I see becoming most popular. Though the price on the thing might prevent that. D:

The hairstyles are okay. I like a few of them, but most of them were only so-so. o-o And the ones I did like weren't so great that I'd want to buy'em. ^-^;

I like the pony tail a lot! It reminds me of my old terra twist hair kinda. I picked that one because in real life I have hair similar... actually, my hair looks more like the new ponytail one in rl.... O_o; It's cute! <3
(The reason I had to change the terra twist was b/c it glitched and I couldn't wear my chuyka scarf this style!! *sobs)
The punk is cute too... but erm, not on my avi... and the flip one is cute too; but again not for my avi.
Not a fan of the stardom one much...
GAH! I just hate how you can't always change your hair back and forth and it costs so much money to buy new hair everytime you change your look..... T__T

Yeah, most of the new styles look terrible on my avatar... but the punk one looks really good on her! o.o Especially when she's wearing a hat, like now. <3
And yeah, that's why I've only changed my hair once, because I don't wanna spend the money then end up unhappy. I'm surprised Gaia hasn't considered the wig petition yet...

I'm sort of in favour of how they do it now. Makes it more like a real salon. The wig thing would clutter inventories and .. well, maybe I'm just opposed to change. >>

Yeah. I wish that they'd come up with something so that you could buy a hair style and sort of store it in your inventory. ._. I saw the petition for it and it looked great. I'd love to have something like that. >w<
Anyway, my avis clothes are what's keeping me from changing her hair.
I've matched all her clothes with her hair color. And alot of my favorite outfits might not look good with other colors. o-o (Plus, she's had this style and color for so long, nothing else looks right. xD;; )

Uhm, but yea I hope that petition goes through. I HATE having to change my avi's hair... I always get nervous about it... if I could just change back via my inventory life would be easier... (BOY am I being simple minded... XD) I think in the two years I've been on Gaia, I've changed it four times... though... the two of them didn't last very long... so... -.-
At least let us dye our hair Gaia! The wigs they've given us look HORRID on my avi, so they've been useless to me... which is sad... crying

You do have to pay for the hairbands though. =P
I understand from that point of view, one that I must admit I hadn't considered. Perhaps simpler things like up or down ought to be inventory things, but for salon quality hair styles, chances are youd have to pay in realm life, so it just seems like you should each time on Gaia. Same for dye, cause you have to buy it each time in real life (and then take eight months to get around to using it if you're me >_>)
Some of the wigs do have some terrible eyebrows. I did want the big french one when I first saw it, but I cant make it match my avi either.

Yeah, I agree that that would be a good idea Morgey, except it might be too complicated... with Gaia, those kinds of things tend to be all or nothing. *sigh*
But yeah, most of the wigs are pretty ugly...

I didn't like the changes to facial expressions last year at all, so maybe I'm still letting that cloud my judgement on the subject of changing anything. >_>

I do like the one you have actually. But most of the others are ... eww. Too big, most of them.
I had to delete the avi I had because I used one, didn't like it and it wouldn't go away. emo
