Ok, I'm listening to the musical, but I read most of the book.
Am I the only one who cries while reading about Fantine???

The whole book had parts that made me cry! I love the book and the musical. Good times. (I have to admit I did read the abridged version of the book. Not to say the book is much smaller that way!)

Fantine was always my favourite character. It really doesn't get much more tragic than that.
