On the Eastern side of the village is the flowing river, where villagers can get fresh water if they don't have wells. It comes from up in the mountains, so its healthy, fresh, spring water. It's also a good place to swim, so long as the crocodiles aren't out hunting. The river is extremely wide.

Batou laid back against a tree starring at the river rush on, while chewing on a blade of grass. He thought about how things were awfully slow in this village. Then again when were things ever fast, never. Amegakure was a relatively safe village. No war, no invasions, no dictator, no large problems. Just normal people going about their day to day business and ninja going on mediocre missions. Everywhere else, everyday seemed to be a challenge to get by. With the masters and all. It was amazing in a dreadful and shocking way how everywhere else could be in such peril while this little village surrounded by swamp and rain forest didn't have a care in the world.

Misora slowly walked through some brush to look at the river. She didn't go in it because she wasn't in the mood to go swimming with crocodiles. She watched the river flow gently and swiftly as her eyes wandered around until she spotted some guy. Amegakure was a quiet village which is why she liked it. It wasn't so squished together and city like. It was a spread out village that stayed connected to the nature of the surroundings which allowed her life to be easier. Plus the food was all grown locally and always tasted so fresh. Life went by easily day in and day out as other villages where so complex and developed that life was taken too seriously. Amegakure was so graceful to live in with its simplicity and ease. The village was always safe and sound. So in touch with the nature that surrounds the village. It was enclosed in rain forests and was so small which complemented the village. She loved the sight of the river which always made her think of how she adored living here.

Batou's eyes shifted to the left and noticed a woman, then shifted back toward the rushing river. "What brings you to the river?" he asked her without removing his gaze from the water. He was curious because no one had ever come to his spot before. Mainly, this village was a bunch of farmers so no had time to come here. Batou didn't recognize her but maybe she wasn't a farmer.

Misora heard the voice of the man that had been looking at the river. "The water is calm and relaxing. I like to see the river flow fast and swiftly. I am naturally drawn to it. What brings you here?" Misora asked as she continued to longing gaze at the river. Her lips curled into a half grin as the corner of her eyes locked on him. The village was so small yet comfortable. Full of farmers and the occasional ninja. She didn't recognize the man at all and figured he was most likely a ninja too.

"To kick back" Batou replied. Then yawning in response to how bored he was. "Man this village is boring. Not a lot to do around here." Batou added. Batou generally enjoyed causing trouble for people but there was no one to mess with today. And the his brother didn't bother assigning him a mission. But that might be a good thing. He really didn't feel like picking up dog s**t or whatever else was available.

"Nice. I do agree how boring this place can get." Misora replied back and also yawned. She was too lazy to bother taking a mission and didn't feel like chasing animals around. What she wanted to do was fight. She had a longing desire to fight someone for the fun of it. She wasn't one for causing trouble but parts of her screamed out to her to do some. "Want to spar?" Misora threw out as an option.

Batou stood up, resting his katana on his right shoulder and starred at the female ninja. "Ya sure you wanna?" Batou asked a little arrogantly. If she really was then he would have to be cautious since he didn't know what she was capable of.

Misora looked at the man awkwardly. "I don't really care. Just gives us something to do." Misora said before readjusting her butterfly swords. She had the desire to fight and it seemed this other guy didn't mind. Her green and brown eyes gazed blankly at him unsure of how powerful this guy could be. Anyhow. She would find out. A grin flickered across her face as she turned to face him.

Batou stood the woman down and instead of charging her as someone might expect he threw his katana in her direction and made a couple of hand signs, casting a jutsu. He didn't even bother moving to increase the distance between her and him. He merely watched her as she would move out of the way of his weapon.

Nehan Shoja no Jutsu (Temple of Nirvana Technique)
This technique is an incantation spell that allows the caster to place a large body of people into an intense and unconscious state. The spell, however, can be avoided by forming the tiger hand seal and using the dispel skill, dispersing it away.

Misora blinked for a quick second before looking around. She was slow with movement. Soon enough a quick jutsu came over her and she couldn't release the jutsu. Her eyes dropped down as a small breeze passed through. Her body collapsed onto the ground with a large thud. Her body grew cold. With each passing second she went into a daze. She was knocked out from the Genjutsu. As she laid on the ground wind passed through and whipped her hair across her face. She had managed to keep a smile on her face like always. Her body landed on a jagged rock. The impact with the rock and her skin cause a few minor scratches and cuts.

Once the woman fell to the ground from passing out, Batou walked over to where his katana was and picked it up and strapping it to his back. Then he walked back over to the girl and picked her up so he could lean her up against the tree he was leaning against earlier. He fixed up her wounds and then woke her from her sleep.

Misora stirred a bit before her eyes shot open. She looked cautiously at him. She was leaned up against a tree. "I like your tactics." Misora said kindly as she looked at him. As her eyes scanned him she spotted his headband. He must have been a higher rank in the village. Similar levels. She was still smiling. She quickly got up and withdrew her blades. "Before I continue I ask, What is your name?" Misora asked looking at her blades. Blades was just an easier way to say twin butterfly swords.

"Batou Fujiko, yours?" He replied in a low voice before asking what her own name was. As the girl drew her swords, Batou stepped back while keeping a close watch on her eyes. They would tell him where she would go. As for his own katana, he would not draw it. He wasn't going to risk hitting her with it since it was lined with poison. So Batou was going to have to go hand to hand.
