Necks entwined, the frost and silver watched the small group approach. "If we can't express our true love here, then why should we stay? We don't want to fight, but we don't want to stay."

The leviathans flopping about the larger dragons sighed. "Our poor children have to flop about on dry land! Such cruelty! We REEEAAAALLLY wanna see the freaking ocean again! To the ocean or bust!!"

Del was at a loss for what to do, there were so many dragons about and emotions were running very high. At least she'd been sent to work with dragons that seemed less likely to hurt her then make her pity them. Still, for the moment she felt that the best course of action was to let Echo do the talking.

Reaching what she deemed was a safe enough contact point she dropped to her knees beside Echo. She was already way small that the Silver or Frost however, it was a show of respect, something to prove she was listening, here to solve a problem not force d-corps desires on them without a choice.

Echo was interested in Del's position and pleased that she thought of the two of them he was best suited to being diplomatic and helpful. He certainly didn't disagree, his charge was a good girl but she badly suffered foot in mouth syndrome and to have her insult one of the older dragons would be bad.

Looking at the unhappy couple he sighed " Your love could cause problems though. We don't even know how healthy mixed dragons will be. whether they get both sets of strengths and weaknesses and whether or not dual dna commands might conflict during situations. As two seperate dragons you get along fine but to breed you risk producing a child that would be.. not well." Echo really saw no reason that the two couldn't be togeather, just that they shouldn't breed. It wasn't like they got to keep their children anyways. The young Bronze hoped he had spoken well. He was not trying to insult but express a fear. No child created by d-corp was ever fully stable in his mind, to add a potential unstable dragon guardian was just asking for trouble.

Aysel stared blankly at all the dragons. Regardless of what her mother believed the luna moth did pay attention. Sometimes... Still it was D-corp and dragons and they were supposed to talk with them right? That'd be much easier if she could understand it.. Aysel had just about opened her mouth when the dragon man, Mr. Perilas suddenly assigned her a group. Shrugging at Apala and the rest of them the blond joined the group.

The girl leaned over to Roule and whispered, "Do you know what they're talking about?"

Apala listened carefully to the draconic conversation, nodding at the other bronzes points. He certainly made sense. If you miss the ocean, Apala added addressing the leviathian, Have you tried asking to visit it? After all, sometimes the simplest solution was the easiest. Like MommyElder's insistence on 'please'.

The silver dragon snorted at Echo's comment. "He looks perfectly healthy to me. Though a bit worried, perhaps. Then again, he's talking to Auloll, so I don't blame him..."

The leviathans blinked at Apala's question. "Ask? Ask? Did we ask?" That started a whole debate with them on whether anyone had asked to go see the ocean or not.

Echo huffed, offended about how easily his thoughts were dismissed " Right now is not all the time. Not past or future either of which may contain problems. I have no quarrel with your right to love each other but by producing mixed offspring you risk innocents. Your own offspring may not be dangers but others could be and if you are allowed to breed than so are the others and that is not acceptable." Echo doubted a silver frost could be dangerous but the offpspring of more aggressive species could be deadly and not inclined to help their chosen.

Azucar was calmly translating to Tyven, although his tone was tinged with disgust, and the tall preteen quickly became irritated, stepping in front of Echo to cut him off and speak to the dragons herself. Azucar's black form slid to join her, support.

"There is nothing wrong with you two producing offspring." Her lavender eyes looked slightly angry, but not with them. "The fact that you can breed proves that. Dragons are the same species, the same race. You are like different ethnicities. And just like those people have the right to sleep with someone of a different ethnicity, so do both."

Azucar's white teeth gleamed as he joined his bond. "Often mixed breeds are stronger, and lack the weaknesses of their parents........ I am for supporting your right. For, if you cannot interbreed... Then what of these children?"

Now Tyven turned to stare at Echo and Del. "Exactly. All of us children are different. Would you not have us produce with each other? Our dragons are most likely to bond with the dragon of whichever partner we choose. Their children are likely to be mixed dragons as well."

Now Azucar's words were directed to the pair. "Stay, and we shall speak to the D-techs. I am sure most of us share your view on love and mating. Keanu's dragon is very strong and great."

Once that was resolved, they could move on to the leviathans.

The bronze waited patiently to see what the leviathans had figured out among themselves. After all, they couldn't solve the problem if they didn't know what had been done already and what hadn't. Listening to the other argument he tried to keep focused on the task he had chosen, though both sides had good points.

Aysel perked up as enough was spoken in English for her to finally understand. Having read far to many books in which love conquered all, the girl's salmon eyes narrowed and she chimed in, "You're right. D-corp can do all the stupid tech stuff it wants but it can't control who you love and you have the right to show that love!"

The silver dragon and frost dragon perked their heads up. "You'd talk to the techs for us? You'd convince them to let us do what we want," the silver asked Tyven. The frost dragon hummed happily. "Son good. Son make proud." The silver smiled and nuzzled his mate. He peered at Aysel and Tyven. "I like you. Much nicer than those techs, though they're not bad..."

Echo looked at Azucar " How well do you know that mixed breed? does he only have his kind's strengths or does he have double weaknesses as well. If mixing was so good the techs would encourage it nor forbid it, they seem smart enough to know if a mixed would be beneficial." If was clear that Echo was in the wrong and none would listen to him but he would not be easily dismissed. " Many special can interbreed but it doesn't mean they should. I have watched nature showed with Del and seen the pros and cons of many mixed breedings and I still hold that They have a right to love but that thier breeding should be prohibited."

At This Echo looked at the couple for a moment " I mean no offense to you but I felt I had to explain my reasons for my thoughts."

Del snorted at Tyven's comment " I don't think most of us kids are compatible and even if we were there'd be a lot more to think about that just that we can have kids. Echo will bond with whoever he likes, he's an individual , hell he can hate the dragon of a another kid I may like for all I care and i'll still respect that decsion. It's foolish to think that just because two of us may get along or dragons likely will. It may happen but I highly doubt things will work out so nicely."

Personally she wasn't sure how she felt about the situation. She saw two beings in love and she thought it was sweet. There were issues there though and Morally she was torn between both sides having good points. She'd much rather deal with the leviathans, dragons she could understand better and probably figure out how to help easier.

Highly agressive, Tyven flashed her fangs warningly, and stared at Del, arms folded across her chest, jaw working in her hard-to-control anger. "You misunderstand. I speak not only what I believe, but what the Techs themselve must have in mind. They care not for our feelings. You like your 'Echo', I'm sure, but the techs won't have him breeding with whomever he pleases, either. Not if they won't even let these strong, elder dragons do so. Echo will most likely be forced into a pairing that's easier for them, and soon, that will eliminate the use of the other, wiser dragons."

Azucar grinned. "Because why would they use rebellious, stronger dragons when they could used molded saps that trust blindly?" His implications were obvious.

Dismissing the other girl, who had snorted in disrespect, Tyven turned her attention to the two dragons. "Yes, Azucar and I shall speak to them on your behalf. I doubt that many dragons will choose to interbreed, but those that do should have that choice. If anything, they don't have to take that child away if it's "bad", and you could keep your offspring for once." Her eyes narrowed with distaste. "What you two do privately and sexuallly is of your own concerns, just like any other being on this planet."

"Honestly, it seems a bit... Racist, to me. Considering you are the same species, just like humans are, and just have different aspects to you. Should interracial couples not be allowed to 'breed', Echo?" Azucar's grin was almost charming-for a dragon. "Breeding is a disrespectful term to use to ones elders, by the way."

Del was disturbed by Tyven's words " Wait what? I mean I disagree that they will force Echo into anything, he may not be an adult yet but he's growing bigger each day and he's not nearly as nice and biddable as he may seem. " She smile a bit" Plus he's a bit of a vain and proud bugger, I doubt they could convince him to shore up with just anyone"

At that Echo huffed again and looked towards the leviathans. This was not going well and why oh why , even when standing up for him did Del have to be insulting.

Del stared at Tyven, she didn't want to voice her thought but felt she had to" iI the elder dragons use is eliminated and they came here for safety and a reason and D-corp won;t let them leave" She paused to look up at the couple " Does that mean they'll try to kill them,?" She might be morally torn in other areas but on that she was not, theses dragons were not just breeding stock to be used and disposed of when all was said and done. it might cost her dearly but she'd fight to protect them if it came to it.

Echo had started to reply to Azucar when when Del spoke again " Breeding, coupling, ********. just words for an action, it matters not who's doing it." there was no malice only amusement in the Bronzes's tone.

However at Del's second thought he snarled then eyed the hopeful frost silver pair "If they dare.. if they dared to do such a thing , I will have lost all faith in them. That they black mail our childrens guardians id suspicious enough. That we have no apparent purpose gives me doubts but still I have maintained that they cannot be truly evil simply up to something we do not yet understand." Echo bean to pace back and forth " If they were to treat our elders in such a manner, to forget that they are first and foremost sentient beings with rights and not creatures bound in contract then I would have no faith left in them and they would have no support from me, only bared teeth and claws."

Echo was a bronze and that stood for justice and while the situation here was already tense it was debateable who was right and wrong. If however, he learned they intended to kill the elders when they were no longer needed for breeding then he would be as merciless as red or black in full rage. He would fight to restore the proper balance and see his kind done right.

While most of the discussion was centered on the moral issue of interbreeding, the leviathans finally arrived at an answer to the question posed to them by Apala. "Apparently... no. None of us remember asking, but we never got the feeling that we'd get a yes..." One of the leviathans finally told the young bronze.

Meanwhile, the frost and silver couple watched the debate between the two children. Why were so many opposed to true love? Why must so many be opposed to something different from what they were used to? Why did some try to restrict the rights of others? Who was right in the end?

Apala nodded at their answer. Perhaps we can ask them that. They might be able to arrange...field trips He nodded again, wondering if he should find a D-tech or someone and ask them right now so the thing could be resolved or if he should wait for the other half of his group to finish. Glancing back and forth he made up his mind.

Aysel stared wide-eyed at Del, unable to believe what she really heard. "They wouldn't do that!" the luna moth blurted out. "They couldn't!" Her antennea began to twitch back and forth in agitation, far from the usual lazy sampling.

A tug on her dress drew her attention downward. "I to go see..." Apala struggled for a moment trying to figure out what word to call the techs, "..workers." His English wasn't that good yet, a sore point still.

Aysel nodded, reluctantly following her dragon. "It's not right," she muttered to herself, though she didn't have any clue of what to do. If only her mom was here.

Apala looked around, hunting for a D-tech or the person that had to talked to them before hand.

Most of the techs were still on the balcony, not brave enough to venture closer to those that wanted to harm them. However, Peri had led the children down to the floor and was watching with some apprehension. Why had the boss called these kids in?! That one boy's arm was clamped in Auloll's arm! The man fidgeted, concerned on whether or not he should go over there, but he was rather attached to his limbs...

Tyven was about to reply when she heard the shouts, and her head snapped to the side, taking in the carnage by Aullol. Chath? She actually liked him. Naive, yet a good person. Fists clenching, she pointed over Del's shoulder, directing the girl's attention, and noticing the cowardly Tech's, and Dragon Instructor.

"... We need to help, if they are too scared to do so. Aullol is but one dragon. Azucar?"

The shiny black lindworm flashed his teeth in agreement, and they took off, stride confident and aggressive. Hopefully she wouldn't beserk.
