Favorite video game movie: Grandma's Boy. Hey it may not be based on a video game, but it sure beats the hell out of Doom.
Most Anticipated Upcoming Video Game Movie: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time. Micheal Bay is directing it! ZOMG My favorite platforming franchise ever, having my favorite entry made into a highly stylized, action-centric movie. I cannot wait for next year!
Game that should be a movie: Grim Fandango. It's got all the trappings of an excellent movie, if Tim Burton did it with stop-motion animation, it would be absolutely incredible.

I kinda liked the Super Mario Bros movie. Oh no, everyone hate me, but at least hear me out. When they make a gaming movie, they want to make it so that it will appeal to the majority of potential viewers. The majority of people haven't played these games, like Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil. So the director focuses on making the movie entertaining to those people, while loosely basing it on the source material.
That being said, that's ******** lame. How about they make the video appeal to people that played the game, and significantly just cut the budget. Don't release it in theatres, and just put it on video or something.
I really want a Phoenix Wright movie. Live action or anime, it'd rock.

Meta_Fish I kinda liked the Super Mario Bros movie. Oh no, everyone hate me, but at least hear me out. Final Fantasy Tactics should be made into a movie. And the whole thing should be done like the cutscenes in the PSP remake.

Rainbow Six/Splinter Cell, but then again it is Tom Clancy.
Guitar Hero might be pretty good, but I really think a Rouge Squadron game would be good, or else a Shadows of the Empire. Star Wars extended universe might do some good.
As for Real Movies, Resident Evil was really good until I played RE4 and realized that it wasn't following the games. Leon Kennedy would make a GREAT movie character.

I thought Mario Bros. the movie was funny. Don't think I would now though... Saw the mortal kombat movie, didn't care for it. WHEN THE HELL DID THEY MAKE DOA THE MOVIE?!?!?! scream scream scream Gimme that puke emoticon!
