In dark times strong men and woman are needed to light the world. These few strong willed and brave people carry the burden of our existence. Blessed by the gods yet cursed just the same. Why am I telling you this you may ask....because it describes the heroes in this story. These heroes the ones who fight and die for us are only remembered now as stories and ledgends. I am the one that brings these stories to life.

3 months after the death of Emphius...and the loss of vincent our heroes have slowly drifted apart. Cloud lives with Tifa in her bar. The others.... he knows not where they are. But unknown to them a series of unfortunate events would re-unite them. When these "events" are triggered a new adventure will begin and a new prophecy will be fulfilled.

Cloud's feet dangles from the roof of 7th Heaven....Tifa's Bar. He hadn't seen her in a while and was beginging to get worried. She was one of the only friends he had anymore the rest of his friends he ha dlsot contact with. Barret stopped by every once in a while but never stayed long. Cloud just hoped something interesting would happen. Cloud let out a soft moan... and spoke quietly to himself. " Why can't another Sephiroth come around...I'll even have another go at Emphius if I get the chance." Cloud did a front flip landing nibly on his feet. Cloud noticed a man watching him closley. The man was covered by a dark cloak and a red mask. Cloud waso nly joking out of boredome he didn't realy want to fight someone. Hoping to avoid the man Cloud ran as fast as he could but no matter how many corners he turned the manw as right behind him. Soon Clouud looking back ran headlong into the man. " WHO ARE YOU!!!" " I am the nightmare that scares children. I am the phobia's you fear. I am...Death's Aprentice." A look of understanding crossed cloud's face. " An assassin.... sent by who?" " I was sent by Horror the god of Fear. He said you were giving to much hope tot his world. Without fear he is weak and his powers wane. I have been sent to kill you and your friends." " I understand...I also understand I gotta kill you. BUT now is not the time." Cloud did a spinning kick which made the assasssin fall head first Cloud jumped upa ndr an looking back he didn't see the hoel in the ground. He fell down falling faster and faster until he went through a portal falling hard on his butt. " Where...where am I?"
Cloud's question was left unanswered but he looked up noticing other portals. After a few moments his portal closed and he heard an angry voice above him. Cloud decided to sit and see what came out.

Barret is walking along the street, heading to the bar to chat with tifa, when a man appears in front of him, dressed just like the man who was chasing cloud "the hell are you?" Barret asks, as the stranger walks towards him "dont mess with me" barret says, walking back away from the man, and a portal opens up behind him, and he falls in, the portal closing behind him "dammit, what the hell happened?" barret asks, looking around, then notices cloud sitting down "yo, how you been man!" barret says, as he walks towards cloud

"damn, you been getting stronger, spikey!" barret says, grabbing cloud and rubbing his fist on his head "so, hows tifa been?" he says, looking around at the strange world
