A Bit About Him/Her : As read in the epilogue of the seventh book, Albus Severus Potter starts out as a very shy, somewhat insecure boy. He is fearful of being sorted into the wrong house, and knows that he has a great name and family reputation to live up to. As time goes on, Albus will find his place at Hogwarts, but he will also start to wonder about the people he was named after. With avid thirst for knowledge, Albus will strive to excel in his classes and live up to his father's name.
In addition to being well versed in the magical arts, Albus is keenly aware that his father was accepted onto the Gryffindor quidditch team his first year at Hogwarts. This has created a further expectation of greatness in his own mind, with his every action measured not only against his sibling's accomplishments but by his father's as well. While his parents have made a point of reassuring him and not pressuring him, his peers seem to have had inclinations exactly opposite.
A Moment by Himself/Herself :
As Albus neared the cars for the Hogwarts Express, his father's hint about the Sorting Hat taking a student's preferences into account when deciding their future eased his mind slightly. The cars of the train seemed to loom high overhead as he fought his trunk onboard. He looked for an empty place to sit, as much eager to avoid questions and introductions as he was in need to a place to reside for the journey. None of his friends were here with him now and, while the familiarity might have been nice, the anonymity was a relief.
He found a quiet nook to place his trunk, stowed his owl's cage so Pericles would not have to deal with being overturned, and arranged himself so he could have a view of the passing landscape. The hills and forests outside London passed into the distance about the time his first company arrived. Albus busied himself with checking his baggage so as to avoid conversation, and the new addition seemed as shy and disinterested in conversation as he. "If only this silence could last the whole trip," he thought.

Looking good. It's nice to see you have permission for a canon character.
I like the roleplay sample, though I'd maybe prefer if it was longer. Other than that I have nothing to point out. smile
Anyways, good work and welcome to Hogwarts!
