Homework is lame and should be restricted.
(I have a physics teacher who gives out 2 hours of homework a night.) There are regulations for children 15 and under. But as I am no longer in that catagory, teachers can give as much homework as they want (because we can drop out if we don't like school). There needs to be a more stringent policy on the amount of homework ALL "children" get.

I am in complete agreement with you, over the years various interest groups have advocated that such and such topic should be taught in public schools. While there certainly are some things that need to be taught in schools, administrators need to space these topics out. Because over the years the workload for students has dramatically increased

It has gotten so bad, that in the three weeks since school started, I haven't been able to finish a single book!! If you knew me, this would be a dramatic thing - I usually am reading a new book everyday (and have finished yesterday's book).
Homework is insane - I understand why it is assigned; to review principles taught in class, but it raelly is quite lame. (Which reminds me - I have 9 more IR pages and a 2 page essay due soon - I need to start working on that...)
