-Tukana huffed and heaved lungs trying to suck in the arm as finally her ivory paws came to a halt, ears perked high as she peeked around. Between huffs of air her silly grin was more then apparant, and her tail swished through the golden grasses, knocking blades back in forth in a fashion only a leopard tail could produce.-

"Maaaamaaaa!" -She chirped playfully, eyes searching for the familar sight. Having wasted the morning away with play it was about time she find her way back home. Family was pretty much all she had despite the large massage of members in the lands they lived, but she didn't seem to mind at all, more then excited to return home, maybe get a few bites and 'words of love' from her mother.-

The little of hybrids didn't have the best life in the world but they didn't seem to mind having a mother who couldn't stand to look at them. She would threaten to kill their father but Kombo didn't have a clue who their father was in fact he didn't even know there was anything different between him and all the other lions in the pride. His mother calling them impossible or freaks didn't really mean much to him. His mother got angry a lot so surely that was all it was!

He had been wandering about the prides lands as he did regularly, he didn't have much else to do other then try and hunt different small animals. He was more likely to get a meal when he wanted one that way then to wait for his mother to get anything. He was on his way home when he spotted his sister. She was easy to see as she had similar markings to him but in black on white fur.

"Tukana!" He called out to her as he rushed over in his normal playful way. A harsh mother hadn't affected this youngster in the slightest!

-She turned with the familar voice, grinning widely as the familar figure approached, body crouching just a little so that she could prance/pounce around him as he neared.- "Komboooo!"

"What are you playing?" -The words and expression were curious and excited, almost as if she'd already forgotten what she had been up to. Not that it mattered, as a young one there was always time for play!-

Kombo smiled as his sister called to him being just as playful as anyone else.

"I'm not playing anything really. I was pouncing bugs! Do you want to help? It can be fun but some of them get away. Maybe I could go and find some frogs to pounce... they are fun too" He was rambling but then why shouldn't he? He was a happy thing who was with his much loved sister! Everything was just great!

"I like to pounce!" -She stated the information with a happy grin, nodding to her brother's rambling with intent that was only common of one so young. Of course she wanted to play, pouncing was play after all?-

"I TOTALLY wanna help." -She peeked about for what bugs he might have been after, spotting a grasshopper as her ears flicked with his idea of frogs. Lowering herself she pounced, and missed thanks to a quick hop by the grasshopper.- "Frogs are probably easier, cause' their bigger right?"
