Ok, I may sound rather stupid right now, but what does Gashapon mean? Are they just model kits you paint and put together? I've looked for Sailor Moon on Ebay and I want to buy one, but I have some questions...
If it is a model kit? Does paint come with it? Is it hard?
Anything else would help, Thanks soo much, <3

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GashaponGashapon are just capsule toys - a few inches high, pre-painted (usually), just put them together. I guess what you want to know about are resin models. Sorry, but maybe someone else knows more about them!

Gashapon / "Gatcha" figures are the capsule/bubble figures.
Remember how you used to get a piece of bubble gum for a quarter or less from a machine? The japanese started making higher-qualityish bubble toys that usually go for about 200 yen (two dollars?) give or take a piece.
However, once certain ones are retired you can find them in specialty shops (In japan... I wandered into a little closet that was nothing but walls and walls of the figures in baggies), or on ebay.
Definately different from the resin figures. They're pre painted, and snap together, sometimes the fits seem almost awkward... it might be a good idea to super glue them but I haven't mine.
Hope this helps and stuff.
