So for a while we have been contemplating (we as in Gil and I) him moving in for good with me no more of this Texas stuff. I mean it made sense to me, I had my school, a better job, my own place, a car. (He was in a wreck and his car got totaled and he is an assistant manager but I make more money and he he lives in a place his parents own so they kinda control him). Then I got this realization of why do I want him to make the move when I don’t even like it here. I started to think about the things in my life. I can’t go back to school this semester because my aid didn’t come through in time, I don’t like my job anymore, all my friends want to do is party all the time and I am trying hard not to live like that, and I could probably break my lease. I don’t like my family, versus him who is involved deeply with his family. I mean I think I should just move down there and start school down there in Austin. What do you guys think.

moving down there seems good, but its also you running away from your problems.
I mean, whats going to happen when you dont like it there anymore. But if there is a school down there that you like better and cost's less-well that might work out better for you

If you do decide to move, there's a process involved. You'll need to alert your landlord that you're breaking your lease, a two-week's notice (or just up and quit) for work, and then there's moving everything to Texas. You'll also need to have your previous school send your information to your new school when that time comes.
But the question stands, will you like Texas better than where you are now? What if, in trying to leave behind your current life, you find something you hate even more than what you abandoned? If you want to leave for personal reasons, then by all means, go for it. Don't just move to Texas with your boyfriend because of your boyfriend, because if it doesn't work out (not saying it won't, but it's always a possibility), what would you do? You'd have no ties to the area.
If it's a little of both, be certain you want to go to Austin, or at least leave the area you're at.

For one thing I am tired of being tied down by my mother, every time I see her we fight and she ends up hitting me and then I end up throwing her a** out. Also I have either outgrown my friends or pushed them away because a lot of them have started using drugs. My one friends is hard core in meth and coke and his dealer is always hitting on me trying to give me freebies and shamefully the other night I really thought about it before turning him down. I just feel like as long as I stay here I can’t really start out my life with a clean slate because my past just seems to always be there waiting.

I guess for your own safety and sanity, it would be best to move away. 3nodding
