theres a star basketball player named troy bolten. he meets this girl named gaberella montez while on vacation. then she moves to the town he lives in, they fall in love. they audition for their schools winter musical and end up beating out the stars of every show since kindergarden.
i bet most already knew that from the movie but whatever.
