I saw this guitar in the store today. I tried it out and it plays great. Has anyone else had any experience with the ESP LTD F-50?

Holy crap. I've never seen a guitar like that before.. then yet my world evolves around Les Pauls and Hollowbodies..

To my knowledge all Ltd/Esp guitars under $600 are made of Agathis. Its a very cheap and dull wood. Its thick but doesnt resoante well. you could find a guitar made out of Basewood or Alder around the same price and will hear the difference. wink Playability is good for a beginer to intermediate guitar though.

yeah, thats more for a concert than a sit-at-home guitar. but yeah, looks demonic. i'd play it!

Yeah, I see it at Sam Ash all the time, I'm not much of a big fan of the way it sounds, but I'm picky (Fender and Ibanez for me) I'd say, look around a little bit more before you swab out the buckaroos
