question Where is Sketchy? question
Our beloved reporter Sketchy has gone missing! This wonderful sketchbook of a reporter has helped Charles find tons of info, and we owe it to the recording-ability of the sketchbook that Charles was able to spill the beans make a report on the upcoming special events! And where is he? In the grasp of the loved (yet at the same time begrudged) crews and admins trying to prevent us from being nosey 'a money moneys' knowing the truth of the special event! that is none of our business! This thread is our place to scream it to the heavens!

Give me sketchy or give me death! Free my beloved sketchy, for have we done not wrong to help the members of the guild? Have we not paid for our crime of b&e(breaking and entering)? So what if we have crept into secrets that should of been left untold, it was for the beinfit of the guild. I think if anything, sketchy should be given a medal instead of locked away! I will die trying! So yes, free sketchy, or give me death!
//I am thinking about making a banner... but not too sure... hmm well it would help further the cause, so I just might do it//

*someone comes up to her, whispers into her ear that rubber chickens are no longer the new torches, then runs away*

A low chuckle fills the hollowed pages of the thread, the tall figure of Sariel slowly emerges from the corner of the room; his body seeming to melt away from the shadows themselves and with a defiant smirk he slowly brings his hands from behind his back. There laying neatly in the middle of his delicately clasped palms there is a small square package, wrapped in what would appear to be black tissue paper, the red bow on top contrasting with the black paper in a somewhat elegant manner.
“Hello Charles, Imalane, and Selendina… I have brought you a present, a glimpse of what I have created if you will… Keep in mind such things are expensive, and it has taken me quite a long time to make this possible…. However… I am sure you are wondering what I hold here in my palms, it is a beloved friend to this guild and I am sure a glimpse will satisfy your hungers.”
His smirk seemed to grow more cynical by the second, one hand easily plucking the red ribbon from the package and letting it flutter to the floor, his nails already ripping into the black paper and scratching what would appear to be claw marks into the leather underneath it. The paper was sent to the ground and without a moment of hesitation he held his prize between his fingertips, a small black sketchbook; the beloved Sketchy. With another low chuckle he let his fingers uncurl slightly, one hand turning it into the palm of the other as it slowly extended; it was what one would call an offering of peace, a demonstration of kindness were such a thing to exist.

With eyes widening, Selendina looked upon Sariel with a certain regard but wariness. She did not know what the man's motives were for displaying Sketchy, or an impersonation. What was his motives? She hardly knew of him, only seeing him upon the threads of this Guild of The Literate Legion. It made her wary, but upon seeing her beloved Sketchy, she suppressed her natural instinct to hiss. Instead, she walked closely to him as Little Sun, shyly placing her fair-length black hair behind her ears then tilted her head to the side, blinking at the man then to Sketchy.
She straightened her posture and looked at him.
"I fear...that it does not satisfy our hunger until he's in the hands of our beloved reporter... Yet, the better question is..."
This is when she turned to the side, Selendina looking to the corner of her eyes.
"Why do you bear him...?"

*runs over to tackle the culprit, but then lands on nothing, twitching, then looking back at Sariel and clearing her throat to cover her clumsiness*

“Hmmm… A fair question indeed, it would seem to me that you would know I was the one who stole it in the first place… I feel it only appropriate that I should be the one to return him to his rightful home.”
Sariel’s smirk never wavered and as she walked closer to him she would hit his open hand, the sketchbook falling to the floor with a small but effective thud. The dark hazy hues of Sariel’s eyes followed the movement easily and within a matter of moments he had swept his hand along the floor and cradled the poor book back into his arms. With a small smile he once again offered the gift to one of the people in the thread, a low sigh escaping him as nobody seemed to want the book back at all.

"AH HA HA HA! BUT THAT IS WHERE YOU ARE WRONG!" With an entrance worthy of Ayame, Imalane appeared in the doorway, hands on hips with dramatic backround lightening. She was wearing a fur coat despite the heat, and was laughing in a triumphant way. "So, upon seeing that this little thread has gained a reaction, I did not hesistate to visit in it only to find our dear Sketchy within YOUR grasp. This whole time, you had us fooled that Serena had him, but now, the word is out at your own doing! Mr. Edwards, understand that we have been tried emotionally with the loss of Sketchy, and would indeed love to have him returned, despite your worry noone wants it." Imalane then brought a hand under her chin, a secretive smile on her face and looked at Sariel Edwards out of the corner of her eye. "Of course, if the attraction was merely to talk to me, I'll still be more than happy to accept your offering of interest! Prove that you are telling the truth by delivering Sketchy back to Charles, and then, maybe, I WILL alight my graceful prescence upon you!" Still acting like Ayame, Imalane patted Sariel's back in a friendly manner. "You are not the first to fall to my charms, and I thank you for your offering! Please make sure Charles has Sketchy equiped again SOON." Imalane sneezed, and was suddenly cold despite the fur coat. With a poof, Imalane's clothes become empty. A snake slithered out of where she had once been, and the laugh from before rang out once more. "AH HA HA! Well, I really MUST be getting back to 'Tori-san, so DO be sure Sketchy is delivered to safety!" Imalane then made her dignified slither of an exit.

"...That's...really...Sketchy!"
Operatic music begun to play in the background as her eyes light up like the pureness of a thousand suns. Her fingers laced themselves together and brought it to the side of her face, where she marveled at Sariel as if he was a true hero. After all these weeks! Sketchy was Sketchy! He was here and he was so near her! Oh, her beloved Sketchy! She'll tell him all her feelings once they reunite! It was then that she began to reminesce about how Sketchy had a growing library of knowledge! How the material adorned his paper-felt body with black elegancy! How she had fallen for him ever since Charles had brought him in sight!
Was it him that she had waited for? Who knows, except for the fact that they haven't met. Still! It could be! Any guy could be her soulmate, and she had fallen for this Sketchy fella!
"Oh Sariel! Please, please! Bring him back!"

“Are you two quite finished?”
Sariel’s voice held a somewhat jeering tone of boredom, if he were not going to give the small book back why would he have presented it in the first place. With a small elegant movement he brought his hand to his face, clearing a few stray strands of ebony from his eyes. It would seem as though they were making a mockery of him, trying to coax him into making the opposite decision as it were. With a small chuckle he tossed the book in Charles’ direction, the pages fluttering as they met the harsh sting of the wind.
“Charles Brimhart, I present to you… Your notebook.... Do forgive me lady Imalane, but your charms have no effect on me... I am not easily persuaded by creatures of your nature.”

Imalane merely chuckled, grinning coyly at Sariel. "Good, you're much to dreary," She responded in a light and teasing tone. She blew a kiss at him and winked. "Well, thank you for the return of Sketchy, and, alas, if only you could get over your denial!" She giggled, and she skipped over to Seledina and hugged her. "Well, if you need me, talk to Onee-chan here, as she is the only way you'll be able to reach me in a while. In case you DO come out of denial." With another breezy giggle, she exited the thread.

Awwee, Sketchy has his own thread, how fun XD Well, if it helps any. I'm pretty sure I saw Serena with Sketchy at the Ball! Why don't you go look there, eh? ;D But, have you ever stopped to think that maybe, just maybe, Sketchy and Serena have something special together? : o Maybe he doesn't want to be rescued ;D

"Then...then..."
SunMoon looked at the one who proclaimed such a thing, then sighed. Rubbing her head, she looked to the stars that just happened to be above their heads, her eyes twinkling as she latched her fingers together.
"O'thy heart. I believe we must move on. For if there is love for another, but not love for myself, I cannot share it with thy loved one. So, I shall depart from Dear Sketchy and leave him with Serena. Yes, that shall be it and forever (possibly) be it."
She closed her eyes, exhaled as if giving off her tensions, then smiled and spread her arms opened before prancing around.
"Still! We have to search for Sketchy!"

Edwards thank you so much for the kind gesture, however I believe Serena has pooled the wool over all of our eyes. For you see, while you handed it off to her, she traded it for a different sketch book, yes yes indeed. For Sketchy, my partner is not a charcoal book, he's a red sketch book.
I am sorry that she has done such, but again I really do appreciate the offer kind sir. biggrin
May this thread recieve great joy as we get Sketchy back, we shall hold a triumphent party!... Wait we already have one, the ball!
