This is where (hopefully) all your questions will be answered, plus somewhere to find out how you're supposed to behave.

Rules

1. Follow the Gaian ToS. Failure to do so will result in an immediate ban from the guild and a report to the mods.

2. Quite honestly, the less swearing the better. If it's done tastefully, fair enough. But if you're swearing just for the sake of it, or swearing all the time, it will be considered spam and the post will be changed or deleted, depending on the content. So keep it to a minimum. If I or any other moderator judges any post to not be inkeeping with this rule and the guild feeling, a warning will be issued. Three warnings will result in a ban from the guild.

3. Be pleasant to the guild members and crew. This is partly a ToS issue, but insults will not be tolerated and a warning will be issued. Again, three warnings will result in a ban.

4. Grammar, please. I'm okay with a little less capitalisation and maybe a few more exclamation marks than necessary, but tryng t rd smthn lyk dis is really just too much for most of the crew to bear. If I can read and understand it on sight, then it's passable. No warnings will be issued for breaking this rule, but I will probably send a PM to whomever it is asking them to please type properly or better.

5. Use appropriate subforums. There is a subforum for pretty much everything that I can think of. If you think I've missed something, post it in the Suggestions Sticky and I'll address it there.

6. No repeat threads. I think I've pretty much gotten rid of the need to create new threads in all the killing subforums, so just use the General Discussion to make a new thread. If there's already one there, post in that.

7. Please don't bump unless your topic is no longer on the first page. It's not necessary and only serves to irritate.

Most importantly, have fun! This isn't a serious guild and we're not elitist, so everyone's free to join!

FAQ

1. How come it's only Final Fantasy characters?
The thread that lead to this guild was originally created in the Final Fantasy subforum, for people to go and kill Final Fantasy characters. Even though it was moved to the Chatterbox, myself and a few members remained to keep the thread going. We still get new kills occasionally, but it'd be nice to see them going strong again.

2. Who created the thread?
The thread was created by TimeMonkey, who sadly had his account banned with no reason given. He created a new account, timemonkey2, which was later banned. He is now the Vice-Captain as MonkofTime, and even though the original idea came from him, I'm staying Captain because unfortunate things happen to his accounts. XP His original name is also why we sometimes call him TM.

3. What's in the Crew subforum?
As I've mentioned, the original thread endured (and still does) thanks to all the members of the crew. After a little while, everyone but myself created a roleplay. I came to it late. So really, that subforum is how we're going to be able to catalogue our roleplay, even though it'll probably be continued in the thread. Since the thread is over a thousand pages long, it's nice to have somewhere that the roleplay is organised and easily viewable.

4. What if I want to join the RP?
If you'd like to join the RP, come hang out in the thread for a little while. Get to know everyone better, see what's going on, make an active contribution to the thread and guild, or send any of the crew a PM and do all of the above. We're not exclusivist, but the RP has been going with just the five of us for quite some time now, so we're a little hesitant to just invite anyone in. Here's a link to the thread for those who are interested: http://www.gaiaonline.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2410612

5. How can I become a Crew member?
We're all busy people outside of Gaia with our own lives to contend with, so we probably won't always be here. I'll be looking for a couple of people who will come into the guild a lot and keep order, and then after that if people are particularly dedicated, it'll be discussed. All promotions will be discussed by the Crew beforehand, though.
