Josie's always been the girl with a very... strange personality. Though she is quiet by default, she has the ability to be very loud, outspoken, and fairly.. obnoxious. She has the tendency to speak her mind without thinking, which also tends to get her in balls of trouble, though lately, she's been working on watching what she says, though it's a pretty bad habit.
She's not all Loudness, though. Josie is extremely caring, especially to her Pokemon. To her, they are not only friends, but Family, and she tends to refer to them that way. For example, her first ever Pokemon, her Pachirisu, she tends to treat like a little Brother. Amusingly, the two of them really do tend to act like a brother and sister combo. Kozue, will pick on, or bug Josie in some way, she'll yell at him, and pretty soon, the two will be out in a full out argue until their faces turn red. But at other times, the two will be completely in sync. This happens mostly in battle, where it gets to the point where the two do not even need to speak, to know what they should do. There's one.. pretty bad thing about Josie's.. 'personality'. She's very, Emotionally Unstable, border-line Bi-polar, really. At times, she'll be very happy, but the happiness soon just, wears out of her, and she'll fall into a quiet, depressed state, where she just doesn't want to be bugged. Usually at this time, Kozue also seems to fall into a depressed state, as if the two are one.
Josie was born and raised as an Only child, living with both of her parents in Saffron City, of the Kanto Region. She grew up, mostly with her Mother, however, as her Father, was a Pokemon trainer, one whom had entered, and got, fairly far, in the Indigo League. Of course, he came home with nothing, other than his badges, which he gave to Josie, in hopes of inspiring her to become a Pokemon trainer when she was older. And he got his wish. As soon as she was Ten, living in the Sinnoh Region at the time, having been in a family that just loved traveling, due to the fact that her mother was a Pokemon Researcher, her father also becoming one,... Josie became a Researcher, helping her parents, learning about all sorts of Pokemon. Her father loved this. Though his little girl was not yet a trainer, she was a Researcher, doing everything she could to learn about Pokemon. Along the way, Josie did things she'd never dreamed of before. She'd watched a Beautifly Mating dance, she'd been to the Orange Islands, met Professor Ivy, seen the different colored Pokemon there... She'd learned about the "Legendaries," she'd heard tales of the Ghost Pokemon, and even seen a few. She'd watched Battles, Contests.... everything. It was when she was approaching her 15'th birthday, that she heard about a newly discovered Island. Zatao. She had to go. She wanted to go. But her parents where too busy, having decided to go to each place in Sinnoh, and try to find all the new Pokemon. So, she simply,... asked. And oddly, her parents, said she could go. Her dad, was overjoyed. He knew his little girl was wanting to go become a Pokemon Trainer, so he let her off easily. Of course, her mother wasn't quite as happy as her husband, but she soon came to accept it. Josie left,... a little, too quickly,.. barely saying good-bye to her parents, leaving with just the clothes on her back and the bag/pouch, which carried nothing but her six Pokeballs, a Pokedex, Pokenav, some food, and a crap load of money. It was, just,.. as she'd stepped onto the island, off the boat,.. just as she'd stepped out of town and into the forest, that she'd found herself, a little, wounded, Pachirisu, limp on the ground. She didn't bother thinking, before running quickly over to him, scooping up the little Pokemon in her arms, and dashing off, back into town, past the beach, to the Pokemon center. Nurse Joy was... too pleased to heal the Pokemon, moving as fast as her and the Chansy could, to get the Pachirisu into the ER. Josie stayed, of course, wanting to see the Pachirisu once he was all healed up. Just as the light went off, and Josie stepped in to see the Pachirisu, he woke up, having originally been sleeping. She'd planned to just look at him, to make sure he was okay, before just going off on her own once again For a good few moments, the two just stared at eachother, blinking. "Oh,... I guess you're okay now, huh, little buddy? That's good... I'll just be going now..." The oddly coated Pachirisu just blinked a few times, before letting out a soft "Chipa?", and jumping off the bed, bolting after Josie quickly, jumping up on her shoulder, and nuzzling her cheek. "Huh?" Josie looked over at the Pachirisu. "What are you--..." "I think he wants to stay with you, Josie." Nurse Joy said softly from behind her. The Chansy nodded once.
Josie looked over again at the Pachirisu, and smiled. "Is that True, Pachirisu?" "Chipa!"
