Way back when, about two years ago, I used to be part of a guild called World of Magic - A HP Guild. Anyway, there was this game we used to play that most of the members really enjoyed. It was the Sorting game. Well, I've decided to resurect the game for my fellow members of the Haven: so here it is!
How it works?
The game is quite simple. Just like some of the other games in this guild ( such as the famous You look like... game and the Name the Wizarding World Job of the Person Above You game), you will be required to determine a peice of information about the person above you. For this case, however, it's a Hogwarts House.
Ignoring what houses we have been sorted in, it will be your job to determine, based of of apearence and personality, what house the person above you should be sorted in.
The Format
This is the proper format for participating in this game:
Looks: What house the person should be in based off looks, and why
Personality: What house the person should be in based off personality seen in the guild and why.
Rules and Reminders
* Make sure to explain why you took that house for that person. I'm sure everyone would like to know your reasons why you have sorted the person in that certain house.
* This is not the official Sorting thread. If you need to get sorted, please go to the Sorting Hat thread.
* A maximum of 3 posts a page made by one member will be placed in this game due to overactive posters. Also, by doing this, we can have more members participate in the game, creating more of a variaty.
* Remember, this is a literate guild. If you are not literate, at least make an effort for the other members.

Slytherin based on looks! But you are very kind and intelligent. Seem to always be happy or pleased. I would say you belong in......Slytherin were you are. Machiavellianism is one thing you don't have that most Slytherins do...(Machiavellianism is primarily the term some social and personality psychologists use to describe a person's tendency to deceive and manipulate others for personal gain. ) But due to your resourcefulness, I would say Slytherin! biggrin

You look like you should be in the House of Awesome. And no, not because you're awesome. To those who hasn't heard the song called The House of Awesome by the Whomping Willows, it's a house for everyone. And you look like a prep and preps don't fit for any requirements in the other houses.

I would say that you would be in Gryffindor cause your avi is red and orange and cause you seem to like Ginny Weasley and want your avatar to look like her.

Looks: You look like you belong in Slytherin . You have the silver hair and fishnets giving you that edgy look, which looks slightly Slytherin to me.
Personality: You seam to be really witty and kind with your posts in the guild. I'll have to say Ravenclaw.

Looks: Based on just your looks, I'd have to say you look like you'd be in either Slytherin or Ravenclaw, but more towards the Slytherin side. Your avi consists of the colors green and black giving you a look that says you are not someone you'd want to cross. On the other hand, in your hand is a boook, which although it seems to be dark in nature makes you seem a bit towards the Ravenclaw side of the houses while the fairy, crown, and Enchanted Strings gives a light airy feeling to your look. All in all, you have a look that says you get what you want while also being kind at times. Verdict: Slytherin because you obviously show your Slytherin pride by wearing so much green and black. The darker colors show that you're not someone who should be taken lightly.
Personality: Your personality is a bit harder to deal with than your looks, because frankly, I don't know you really well, so I'll just give my best assumptions and hope they are correct. Garnet, to me, seems like she would fit in well with Ravenclaw, or maybe even Hufflepuff while also having a streak showing her Slytherin nature. She would do well in Hufflepuff because of the way she helps people who don't understand things, and her Slytherin side comes into play when she finds something she wants and tries to achieve her goal no matter what. But, on the other hand, Garnet's almost a shoe-in for Ravenclaw. She's obviously knows a lot about the topics she creates and takes her time to post a reply to other people. She seems to like to help people if they don't understand something, unless of course, I'm reading this wrong and you only help people because you start to get annoyed. You seem to be a person who will follow the rules to a "T", almost never breraking them if you can help it. Verdict: You seem to be the an awesome candidate for the Ravenclaw house because of your knowledge and wisdom.

Looks: Hufflepuff, because you look very kind, and a little.. well, I don't know what word to use... Not meek, exactly, because that sounds like you're scared or weak. But something of that nature. Kind of... quiet, I suppose.
Personality: You seem to be very kind, but also very smart, so I'd place you in Ravenclaw.

Looks: You look to me like a Hufflepuff. Don't ask m why but I just think you do. It's like you are indepent and kind with your avi.
Personality: From what I know about you, you seem kinda witty, smart and creative. A most deffinate Ravenclaw.
Overall Verdict: I am not really sure. I guess I will say Ravenclaw.

But wow, you catch on quick, hee hee. My friend Kyra always says that I can take something that makes absolutly no sense, and twist it around so much that by the time I'm done, you'll agree with me when I say that your mom is a daffodil. And based on looks, Mini, you're a Slytherin. Lotsa cool green tones in your avy... Based on personaity, I'd say Gryffindor, because you have a strong personality like the Gryffindors and the Slytherins, but you're nicer than the Slytherins tend to be.
