Lust wandered on the fringes of the headquarters, musing at the recent turn of events among those kitsu whom she knew. It had never really been in her nature to directly involve herself in many matters - unless under orders, of course - but that didn't mean the homunculus had been deaf to news.
Fullmetal, for instance, being an uncle to the children of someone he loathed. Said children being the grandspawn of one who had been a mortal enemy for two lives, now.
Hm...walking languidly through the trees, the kitsu gave an occasional sniff and flick of the ear, listening for a certain someone. It wasn't vital that she found him, and her observation was casual. She merely wished to..ah...'congratulate' him.
Yes, Envy was building quite an anti-Edward army for himself. Hah. The dark-haired kitsu smirked at the thought.

Envy almost always knew what was going on. After all, his ability allowed him to be the perfect spy. Something he would take on quite readily if it suited him.
A dark bird sat perched among the trees that Lust was traveling through. Round white eyes eerily watching, and a spray of long feathers atop its head, blowing in the gentle breeze. It sat, slightly hunched over, and grinned in the best way a bird could.
"Its about time you showed up again" it spoke. Something that birds, naturally, usually are not capable of.

The kitsu stopped, then slowly, taking all the time in the world, looked about for the source of the voice. Ah, so the source of her search was hiding out, was he? No surprise, as she could very-well smell his scent lingering about.
Lust's dark eyes spotted a very odd-looking bird sitting on a branch. Odd, because it was rather large for a bird, with eyes far too beady and intelligent to be just a mere animal. And, the splay of feathers on its head reminded her too much of a certain someone. Ahah...
"I've been around," the kitsu answered, still smiling affectedly. "But I know you've been rather busy yourself."

The bird laughed, ruffling its feathers before jumping off its perch. Envy managed to revert to his normal form by the time he hit the branch that Lust was on. The envious sin using a paw to toss a few strands of green hair. "Who me? Whatever do you mean?" he asked with a grin, although the way his eyes glinted... he knew exactly what she meant.
"I've not been busy... just my daughter and her mate... if you know what I mean."

Lust imitated Envy's movements, raising a paw to move some of her thick, black hair out of her face. In doing so, she exposed an expression that was full of dark amusement.
"As you said," she commented as she settled down to sit upright, "It is about time I came to check up on things...and to congratulate you." Chuckling a bit, she met Envy's gaze with a look that was both sincere and humorous. Three generations now carried the homunculous trait...though, Lust didn't know if the newest batch had any special traits, if at all.
"You and Nessa must be proud, being grandparents."
Oh yes...the idea was indeed very amusing to her.

Envy raised brow, his grin having turned into an odd espression... his mouth nothing more than a tiny line on his maw. He flopped lazily on the branch, letting his legs dangle as one paw held his head up. "Proud? I suppose... atleast I don't have to take care of them" he said with a shrug.
"To tell the truth, this life is rather boring. He smirked a bit and tilted his gaze back up towards Lust. "Not like the old days." It was somewhat a bit of a shame that things weren't the same here. True they didn't have someone to tell them what to do... but Envy didn't really care much about that. All he had ever wanted to do was get back at his father, but now what was he supposed to do with himself?

The sin should have expected such words from her sibling. Being 'fatherly' would likely never be of much interest to him - Envy was often too self-absorbed in his own affairs to really care much about others. Unless, of course, it was the case of him seeking to torment another, out of spite or otherwise.
Lust idly wondered whether there was something more about the situation than she knew. It was more like she had heard the basis of the news of new homunculus spawn, but hadn't all the details of it. Envy had looked oddly preoccupied with another thought when she had mentioned her congratulations, after all.
She wouldn't push the subject, though. So instead, she answered, "Yes...life here is rather dull." Compared to their past of manipulating the fate of a country in the past, indeed, there was little to do here but mild entertainment. No goals meet, nothing to really drive them forward. Though, her lone marauding, often taking her back and forth between the Realm areas and Mountain, had made her collect interesting bits of information.
"I suppose you've heard that the other boy has finally appeared?" Her tone held no malice, but rather a curious questioning.

"Hm?" Eyes blinked at Lust, before a smirk crossed Envy's maw. "Really? The runt's little brother is here? What a very interesting little piece of information." With the arrival of new loved ones, it would make it all the easier for him to torment Edward. Although, since Alphonse too was of Hohenheim's blood.. he had a loathing for him as well.
Chuckling lightly, Envy dipped his head smugly, "I'll have to pay them a visit sometime. It should prove to be entertaining." He then peeked back at Lust, "Wouldn't you agree?" He wasn't sure of Lust's intentions or allegiances. After all.. she'd switched sides back in their previous lives. Was she true to her origins or would she still sympathize with the humans? He had to wonder.
