For all those Christians out there, I just wanted to say as a little reminder... 3nodding Remember that we should try to have faith in God like a child. Children are a perfect example of how our faith should be. I witnessed this at a Children's Youth Group. My point is, God wants us to come before Him, meaning, as much faith as a child. Let's try to have great faith in God! 3nodding

New Living Translation (NLT)
Matthew 18:2-6

2 Jesus called a little child to him and put the child among them. 3 Then he said, “I tell you the truth, unless you turn from your sins and become like little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven. 4 So anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.

5 “And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf[a] is welcoming me. 6 But if you cause one of these little ones who trusts in me to fall into sin, it would be better for you to have a large millstone tied around your neck and be drowned in the depths of the sea.

There is a story in a book called "Extreme Devotion" that I read. It's a book with a whole bunch of stories of people who got tortured or died for their faith. In it, there is this story:

The six year old daughter of a pastor in (some foreign country) was walking to her church when a car came rushing down the street, swerved, and hit the little girl (on purpose), then left her there bleeding. It was three hours before people from her church, worried about her, went looking and found her. They took her to a nearby hospital where the doctors said that she was going to die. She was wearing a beautiful white dress at the time of the accident, but had to take it off to look at the wounds. She came back to conciousness and asked the people to get her the white dress. When asked why, she said "Jesus bled for me. I want to show him that I was willing to bleed for him."

Children often have the simplest, but most effective logic.

A child... a child is innocent. Believing. A child is insightful. Open-minded.

Its really cool when were sitting in church and one of the pastors little daughters go onto the stage for what ever reason.

When she dances for God, you can see her passion.
When she told the church what she had learnt about God during a summer camp, she said something so simple yet it was special. She understood what she was saying and the way she said it was indescribable, the church was hanging on her every word. Not just because she was cute.
When she wants to show her love to God, she shows it with no embarressment and nothing holds her back!

If only we could be like her, shes only 8.

At a church retreat I went to, one of the sermons was about staying kid-like in your faith.
I found it to be quite interesting.
