by Philip Pullman. ever read it? I just finished it a couple weeks ago and must say, it was excellant! I just bought The Subtle Knife---the second book in the series tonight. heart I highly reccommend reading it, well if youre a literate like me. whee mrgreen heart

Wow, I really love that series. But you're right, not a very good ending. I think they could have thought of a better way to deal with that little problem. UGH! I wish I had a daemon.

i heart that series. I actually read the last book first, then the first book, then the second book xp but i was like 11 when i read them, so i forget most of what happens.
i want a daemon too

Best series in the world!!! My favorite is the Amber Spyglass, but The Golden Compass was amazing too. I can't wait for The book of the Dust to come out.
