The streets of modern Tokyo sprawl through the city, bustling with people going about their daily lives. Among them walks a young man dressed in black jeans and a white tee, his black hair and hazel eyes not setting him apart from the crowd at all. It is to those who can see beyond the norm that he changes so drastically. His arms are wreathed in a pale blue light, ice crystals with an ehtereal light hanging around his limbs as lines of cold power trail up his arms. His face is marred by sheets of crystal hanging in the air about his face, doing nothing to distort his vision but giving a sense of unbalance to any who look upon him. Azure mist rises from his feet, burning away as it gets caught in a cloak of flame trailing behind him, though it does not seem to burn anyone else. This man is Makioka Keishi, a man who had once been a simple EMT with dreams only to help those in pain, now twisted by fate to an Incarnate of all that is good, even if the greater good must supercede the law.

The day started our just like any other. Another day in busy Tokyo. Mitsuko crawled out of bed and went about her business as usual. Little did she know that this day, her life was about to be changed.
She dressed in her normal every day attire, a simple pair of jeans, slightly flaired at the bottom, and a light blue tank top. She bound her long white hair up with a black sash, and went on with her day.
About midday, she found herself out walking the streets, looking for something to do. It was a hot one, and she stupidly hadn't brought along any water, nor had she had anything to eat or drink for the entire day.
"Ugh, I'm such an idiot", Mitsuko muttered, wiping the sweat off her brow, as another pang of hunger hit her full force, "I should probably get something to eat...".
Suddenly, she began to feel woozy and lightheaded. The world began to grow fuzzy and dark, and as she fell to the ground she noticed an odd man out of the corner of her eye. His appearence was normal...but if she was right-and she surely wasn't, what with all this fuzziness-he had ice crystals hanging off him everywhere.
The world went dark completely as Mitsuko hit the ground.

He almost missed it, the girl falling, but notes of surprise and concern from those around her drew his gaze. Pushing people aside Keishi moved to kneel by her, those he had touched idly wondering how he could have such cold hands on such a hot day. As he knelt next to her her felt for her pulse, leaving an outline of frost on her neck from his fingers to then lean down and listen for signs of breathing. While he did keep a basic first aid kit on him while off duty, he didn't happen to keep much food or water on his person. He couldn't place it, but there was something strange about this girl, just by looking at her he could tell. It was almost as if her outline was blurred, but it was probably just a trick of the light or something wrong with his helm.

Mitsuko felt herself being slowly dragged out of the darkness the had consumed her moments-or had it been hours?-before. Distantly, she heard various voices, whispering about something or another, none of which she could recognize.
Oddly, not that much afterwards, she felt something cold as ice touch her neck. Did one of the bystanders have ice on them? That would be refreshing, she thought-though it wasn't really a thought so much as it was a feeling-vaguely.
Slowly, she began to drag herself out of her fainting spell. Mitsuko's eyelids fluttered open, and as she looked up she saw that same strange looking man, Her vision was still blurry, so she blamed it on that, but once it cleared, there could be no denying, this man was very strange.
She started to try to scoot away from him, trying not to cause a panic, wondering at the same time why everyone else hadn't run away from this freakish man, and why they'd let him get so close to her. Couldn't they see there was something wrong with him?

For a moment Keishi looked entirely confused as the young woman skittered back away from him, not realizing what she could see. The pristine sheets of crystal hanging in the air around his head distorted his face so he seemed disfigured now that she could get a better look at him, making the confused look seem ghastly. The cool flames hanging from his shoulders much like a cape began to dance and lick at those nearby, leaving pale lights on their flesh but not harming them in the least. Remaining kneeling where he was he asked, "Are you ok, miss?"

"I'll be fine if you just stay away from me. I don't know what's wrong with you, and I don't know why everyone's acting like you're normal, but there's something seriously wrong with you", Mitsuko said quietly, still staying away from him. She glanced around at the crowd, who still acted like everything was normal, in spite of the fact that they were being grazed slightly by all of the...things moving about around the man.

The look of confusion melted away as he seemed to understand, "You've fallen and probably hit your head, ma'am, likely a mild concussion and its causing you to see things. How many fingers am I holding up?" He lifted his hand and displayed three fingers, but they were close enough to his head to make it impossible to tell how many there were. If he was right she would be unable to see them and would be able to convince those around them to get her to the hospital, but if he was wrong she'd be fine and he could leave her be, unless she really did have problems seeing and then he would have time to dig a little deeper to be sure.

Mitsuko glared at the man as he told she had a concussion. He was just trying to keep her from causing some sort of panic or something like that. Suddenly he held up some fingers. 'This'll be easy', she thought, as he did. It was then that she realized she couldn't see them through all the sheets of ice.
Mitsuko squinted and tried her best to decipher them, but she couldn't, so she decided to throw out a random number, and see if luck was on her side.
"Five?", she guessed, hoping she was right.

Keishi nodded and smiled, "Not quite, but close." He looked to someone nearby as he dug into his pockets, "You there, help this young woman up while I unlock my car, its the blue one just a few yards down the street. Remember, she has a concussion and is probably not thinking clearly, I'll be taking her to the hospital." Fishing out his keys he left those gathered to usher her to his car as he unlocked it and arranged the passenger seat so as to nearly lay her down in the vehicle. If anyone asked he'd explain he is an off duty paramedic and display proper credentials.

Mitsuko frowned as the strange young man-no, she couldn't call him a man, he was most definitely not a man-walked away from her. She felt the person assist her to her feet, and she knew if she really needed to she could get away. All she'd have to do is dart into one of the shops behind her.
Mitsuko waited until she felt the grip of the person who had assisted her to her feet slacken, and then she moved quickly into the doorways of one of the buildings behind her. It was a large retail type store with many aisles, and many places to hide. She just hoped he hadn't followed her.

And thus she made a miraculous escape!

Oooooor not. She'd try to duck away from the person helping her up and run right into the rest of the people standing around being concerned about her well-being. Now instead of one person trying to get her into Keishi's car there would be many, as she seemed too unsteady or too confused to do it by herself. After all, Keishi was a medical professional and had proclaimed a diagnosis of head trauma. This young woman had to be taken to a hospital immediately, and thus everyone would be trying to help her by ensuring she got to Keishi's car safely. Awww, look at all the people, aren't they so nice?

Mitsuko sighed sadly. All the people around her had grabbed her hindering her escape, and now several of them were leading her to the demon's car.
"Please, really, I'm fine. He doesn't know what he's talking about. I have bad vision, and I'm not wearing my contacts", she said to the peopel who refused to listen.
They pushed her towards him in spite of her attempts to resist.

Keishi smiled as the helpful citizens escorted Mitsuko to his car, "You are all very kind, good natured people. I thank you immensely for your aid in helping this young woman, for alone she might have escaped me to hurt herself further." As she was ushered inside Keishi would plop down in the driver's seat and look over to someone helping her in, "Inform the nearest hospital I am bringing her in, my name is Keishi. Makioka Keishi." Once inside and the door was closed he'd pull out, leaving the others behind, the doors locking quickly thereafter. He said nothing to the girl at first, wondering just what her reaction would be to being trapped in a locked car with him. He did so hope she wouldn't do something as foolish as attack him.

Mitsuko glared at the man who was now driving her to the hospital. She had enough common sense not to attack him in a moving vehicle, but boy did she want to.
As soon as they got to the hospital, she would bolt.
Of course, as soon as she thought of that clever little plan, she realized it would probably work just as well as last time.
She decided to reason with him...it..whatever. "Listen, I won't tell anyone your secret or whatever if you just let me go, all right? It's not that hard. Just let me out of the car, and we'll pretend we've never met each other. Sound good?"

He said nothing, allowing his hand to rise, palm facing up with fingers splayed as if he had a claw and not a hand. From his fingertips streams of azure light gathered into a sphere above his palm, the temperature in the car dropping several degrees. Holding the orb there he spoke, "You can see it, and that confirms it. You are not one of the ordinaries, young lady, whether you realize it or not. Normal people are not attuned to it quite the right way, and thus their eyes seem to glaze over such infusions of Incarnum."
