After all, he now knew that his mother had always craved for his father, and that his father felt the same, but his pride had gotten in the way and he had driven his mother away, even so much as attacking her. Shizuka knew that the scars Aruna had were now covered away and "cleaned" with her fur growing back over them, and Rahu... Rahu, the scar on his chest was still faintly visible, but it, too, was nearly gone. Months... perhaps even a full year had passed since that little incident, and Shizuka was glad to see bygones be bygones. Now, once Aruna broke her latest news to her "mate", Delano, Shizuka was on a mission to find his father and drag him back to his mother's hooves, and force Rahu to beg forgiveness. Shizuka loved and hated his father with such contradicting passion he sometimes wondered at himself.
For now, though, he merely had a smug smile gracing his ever knowing face. I can't wait...

Raum was alone staring at the water from the edge of the bank. he had been staying away from family and everyone if he could. snorting he was collecting his thoughts since he had a certain mare on his mind since he last left her. shakig his head, he looked up at the sky while ignorign everythign else which if his father came about he would pay dearly for not keeping alert. no matter he didnt think he would be found where he was. flicking a tail, he gave a loud yawn with a bored expression on his face. it seemed thinking about things was one thing that bored him after a while.

The scent of his little brother caught Shizuka's attention as he ambled--more like strutted--about eagerly, clearly looking for Raum all along. Grinning as he saw how Raum's inattention was about to make him pay, Shizuka called out in a sing-song voice. "Ra-aum!" he called, obviously enjoying himself. He had much to talk about with his brother, particularly about certain news concerning their parents... and he was hoping his cheerful disposition also didn't give away why he was really happy. He felt he had found a goddess, but he didn't want to mention just who this goddess was, although Epona knew, and he could tell she was smiling down on him this day. "Raum, my dearest little brother, I have some interesting news for you!" he continued in his sing-song voice, though if one listened closely, you would hear the smug smirk in his tone.

Raum snapped to attention when he heard his brother calling his name in that damn irritating sing song voice he loved to use at times. turnign his attention to his brother, he snorted. if raum foudn out his brother was with themare he wanted to beat to a pulp well it wouldnt go over well. "now what interesting news could you have for me brother? and you know i hate it when you call me little." rolling his eyes, he moved over to where his brother was, notign the smugness of his voice and the smirk.

Shizuka smiled warmly as Raum approached him, and he tossed his long, brunette colored hair as he winked at his brother. "Ah, this news? This news involves our parents, little one," he finished, just to provoke his brother, continuing in his sing-song voice. Raum being the only one to know Shizuka best, could probably tell that this "news" his brother was about to tell him had made Shizuka undeniably happy. "Do you want to know, Raum? What I know that involves our parents?" he asked, knowing Raum would be more than curious. Shizuka, now knowing the full history behind Aruna and Rahu and Delano, was quite delighted to have found his younger sibling so quickly after his most pleasant, recent visit with Aruna. He just couldn't get rid of his smug smirk.

Raum growled at his brother. " get on with it if you got such interestign news about our parents. and enough of callign me little and your damn sing song voice i hate it!" oh he was beyound courious about the news since it involied their parents and Shiz playign little games only riled him. flickign his tail and eyeign his brother with a raised brother he wondered what kind of news would make his brother so happy. oh he knew snippits of his parents past threw rahu when he got him to speak about it but very little.

Laughing as he finally got under his brother's skin, Shizuka managed to calm down after a few minutes as he became serious so that he could discuss the current topic of conversation with his brother. "Raum, I managed to get Mother to tell me all about the history behind her and Fa... Rahu," he quickly corrected himself. He had taken to calling their father by his name merely because he just couldn't call Rahu his father until he felt Rahu was... well, father-like to him. "I just recently visited with Mother, and you know how she's been sad and depressed lately, right?" he prodded. Raum was the kindest of all three children between Rahu and Aruna, making Shizuka the cruelest, but even with Shizuka he had a little kindness from time to time, if it could be urged out of him. "Well, you see, I found out why just today! Mother seemed so broken up that she just spilled everything! She plans to break her lifemating with Delano," he emphasized the last part with almost a hiss of pure joy, but he had also said it quietly, in case Rahu was around, for the news was only for his dear little brother.

Raum raised a brother at his brother as he started to give him the news though he rolled his eyes as he called their father by his name. " mmhmm." he was truely geting annoyied with how long it was taking to get to the damn point when his eyes grew wide when his brother finaly did. " what the hell your not jsut toying with me are you?" oh if his brother wasnt well he was going to be beyond happy since it would mean Delano was out and gone same with his adopted son.

He snorted at his brother's way of phrasing his words. "Really, Raum, it wouldn't hurt to just ask me to repeat it! The way you speak would hurt Mother's ears! Not even Fa... Rahu talks like that!" he scolded lightly, and then nodded. "You heard me, you twit. Mom is going to break her lifemating with Delano!" He rolled his eyes and then grinned. "Now you know why I'm happy! With this, we should break the news to Rahu... wonder if he'll accept Mom again? If not... well... Mom said she'd just go back to her family." Shizuka spoke the last part quietly.

Raum bit his brothers ear with a snort. " knock it off brother." he then grinned with a musment. " but the news is interesting and good." rolling his eyes he shook his head. " let mother do it, i dout he would even believe us since he would think we jsut tryign to force them together. and who knows what will happen if adn when he finds out." flicking his tail, he didnt want to put much though into what was going to happen if rahu found out because it wasnt a problem at the moment to him.

Shizuka glowered at Raum for biting his ear--his brother had a bad habit of doing that--and raised his eyebrows in curiosity. "Well, since you are Mother's favorite, I suppose I'll follow along with your so-called wisdom. Anyway, Mother looked terribly broken-hearted..." He trailed off, trying to imagine what Rahu would look like and how he would react to the news. He grinned at Raum. "I really wonder what Da--Rahu's reaction would be! Wanna roleplay it out and see how he'd react?" His grin was sadistically evil as he suggested his idea to Raum.

Raum knew ear biting pissed his brother off to when he was angry he would do that to him plus he brother use to do it to him all the time to rile him up. " shut up i'm not her favorite." he then raised a brow at his brother when he suggested they roleplay our their fathers reaction. wrinkling his nose, he rolled his eyes. " i'm not playing one of your damn games Brother and your not making me. plus it's not hard to figure out he would be smug about delano no longer being with mother. but how he would react with mother standing their telling him who knows."
