ALTEREARTH
-The Story-

Seven thousand and one years ago GOD decided to create man in his own image. He went around to many planets puting people upon them. Alterearth was one of the first. Because it was almost what you would call an earler model the people of Alterearth had amazing powers compared to the later planets. And the people lived in harmony for many years,under a peaceful king, using there powers that were unlocked by there mind to benifit everyone. Untill, one day a man by the name of Kalman came to the throne. Kalman was a man with a dark heart...(You all kner this was coming didn't you?)...and he oppressed the people daily and some thought of revolt; however, Kalman had many suporters mainly those who benifited from him being in power, which were a select few. Eventualy people began to to leave this once peaceful nation of Azalon. Spreading out to the north south east and west.

Those that went norht encountered a vast desert as far as the eye could see, which was a sharp contrast to the grassy plains of Azalon. They settled here and named the place Shala. After a time they began to build citys in the desert. Eventualy a large water source was found and by forcing this to the citys water was no longer a problem. Soon the people hope to be able to expand even farther north but as of today no one has ever managed to get to the other side of the desert. Living in this desert has made the people who live here very resilint to harsh conditions.

Those that moved east found a very deep canyon, they went down and dug into the rocks, now they live inside the walls of the canyon. Water is no problem for them as it is a ver rainy area so much water colects at the bottem after each storm. They named this land Uruue. They have many vast citys in the walls. And living in these clifs has made them very strong.

Those that went to the south encountered a frozen wasteland. Those few that manged to survive the first winter there began to start to build a city. Many years later they finished what is now there capital, and is concidered the most beautiful city on the face of the planet. It is said to glow at sunrise and sunset. They eventually named the land Ryuquila. Because of living with the ice for so long the inhabitits have become imune to the cold, however they do not know the meaning of warm.

And those that went west found a vast forest that went altheway to the Ocean. Parts of this forest were so dence that it would be imposible to walk through. Slowly many small towns were made throughout the forest. The people that lived in this land though because they were so isolated from other vilages began to view themselves as seperate nations. Each town going by it's own name, but orriginally the land was called Terrafora.

Of course Kalman didn't like the idea of people leaving his nation. So now he intends to lead a war himself against the new nations. He intends to crush them one by one himself.

Apperance: Tall with long dark hair. Pointed ears. And burning red eyes. Pale skin. And a single scar he has on his right eye, he refuses to tell anyone how he got it.
Powers: Amasing speed in body and with a sword. He has little patience for magic and dislikes those that use it. Though he does tolorate them.
Weapon(s): A single pure white katana (If you wach Bleach then you should know I stole this hook from it) He uses it with a variaty of techniques. He also owns many other swords which he is adept at using.
Bio: Born in a cave just to the east of Azalon he often looked at it's green feilds and wanted it. In this cave by himself. He often dreamed of going over there. One day he finaly got the chance. He left his cave. Leaving his parents there. When he arived at Azalon he saw how kind everyone was. Not back where he was from. Fianly after several years at Azalon he decided to go back to his old cave and bring his parents with him. However when he arived they were not pleased to see him. They yelled at him for reveling them and attempted to kill him. In self defence he killed them. He then left that cave. He walked althe way back to Azalon in thought. When he arived his mind had snapped. He was angry. But he knew not why. He wanted power... why? He formed a small but eleite army that allowed him to kill the king and take the power for himself. He made all who helped him Generals, and Lords. They still to this day are in power.
Any thing else?: Life means nothing to him. He will kill without batting an eye.

But he would have killed her, so she decided the best way to avoid death, and possibly escape was to join Kalman's army, so that is what she did. She is currently the head mage in Kalman's magic department of his army.

When Kalmon lead the revolt that granted him power Leon's fater was one of the first to be killed. Eventually the scorching days, and the freezing nights didn't bother him. He soon gave up sleeping. Now he is always awake. Waiting and planing a chance to stirike the emperor back.

Bio: Ryoga lost his family at the age of 5 and was greatly impacted by the whole affair. Living his life as an orphan he was forced to learn to defend himself with what little magic he had at that point, until an old man picked him up (when he was 9) and brought him back to his house and taught him how to manipulate fire and water as well as how to heal. This lasted for 3 years until the old man fell ill and died in Ryoga's arms. Homeless again Ryoga set out to find a new master and after a year of searching finally found a man and woman willing to teach him. For 4 years they taught him how to control light and darkness. At the age of 17, they sent him away with his new abilities and his bow and quiver that they had also trained him with. After a few weeks, Ryoga stumbled upon a weapons master who trained him how to use a katana and a spell to increase his strength drastically. Now feeling as he has become strong enough he trekked for 4 years stopping at different places to live for awhile before returning to his homeland, Shala.

When he called out to the boy he didn't apear to hear him so he cointuined on. Hiding in a cave because of a storm. He then fell into a deep sleep. One day he was woken up by some man who was wondering if he was alright. He then found out that they had been driven from their home land by a dark elf Kalman. Since he had lived his whole life wandering he thought nothing of them losing it. At first he suggested they just move on. But they seamed to want there land back. Slowly after living with those people for several years he thought he understood why they were upset. So he decided to help them get back ther land. And he never liked dark elves anyway...

Bio: Nai woke up in Uruue with no recollection of how she’d gotten there or who she was. Nai-Lleiana was the name given to her by and elderly couple that took her in. This was when she thought she was about 13. Since then she’s worked extremely hard to get her memory back and all the while tried to get into organizations that try to overthrow the Kalman monarchy. She’s been turned down countless times due to her being neither human nor elf (she’d figured this out because of genetic characteristics), but a mixture of both. She hated herself for not being a purebred.
Any thing else? Despite living in such rocky conditions, she always smells very strongly of tropical fruits and flowers. She’s a fiercely loyal friend yet extremely temperamental and can almost never take a situation seriously. She’s also been known to lie on numerous occasions.

Powers: Healing touch(her tears also hold healing power), Flame manipulation. because of her wings, flight.
Weapons:She carries multitudes of throwing knives in hidden sheaths all over her body and in her clothes, hidden compartments, pockets, and even slight folds n the fabric all conceal deadly weapons. they vary greatly in appearance.
Bio:She had an unusually flighty childhood, due to the fact that her mother often couldn't stay in one place for to long. Her mother was sick, and when aqua was 9 she died, her being exploding in a fire-ball, and killing her father. Aqua miraculously survived, and was brought up by a relative. She discovered that the demon in her farther had come through quite strong in her, and sometimes it got out of her control. she knows know the signal for this is her flames turning black. She dwelled for a while in the forest, before turning back to her homeland, azalon. She got a job in the capital city, as a maid in the palace, and still works there. she couldn't get out when everybody else started escaping to the other lands, and so still lives there. never has she come face-to-face with kalman, to her relief.
Any thing else?:When her flames go black, and she is taken over by the demon in her, she becomes utterly and completely ruthless, and her eyes turn red with golden flecks.

Bio: Aggrias was born and raised to fight evil. She was born in Azalon and her parents where Holy Knights just like her. When Kalaman took over her parents tried to flee they were killed by his minions before her very eyes. From there on out she lived in an orphanage while being taught in secret the powers of a Holy Knight. She trained long and hard to perfect her Holy powers, even learning the power to heal and revive those who fell in combat. She plotted to slay the evil king on her twenty second birthday but she was put under a powerful spell that put her into a temporary coma. The kind people that raised her from a little girl took her with them to Uruue for her safety. She was transported while in the coma but the journey to the vast cities in the cavern walls could reawaken her and her fierce holy powers.

Any thing else?: The magic spell that incapacitated her also makes her stronger. Currently she is still in the magical coma but will awaken within the first couple posts of mine. She is the polar opposite of Gafgar and some might say bitter rivals.

Bio:She was born in Azalon, but left and headed to the south. she was one of the first to begin building the capital. she quickly became immune to the cold. She works as a Spy, traveling from Ryquila to the other countries to gather information. she is now one of Ryquilas most talented spies
Any thing else?:She adapts quickly to almost any situation, and is a very skilled liar. she rarely gives her ture name when first meeting people, prefering to use either, Kaylie, Ambar or Nelench, her three main pseudonyms.

Apperance: Artemis is of a very powerful race that can contain their dragon bodies in a human form. She does not wear clothes but that is because when she is in her human form, there are scales that cover her private areas and they also leave trails of scales that curl around her arms and legs and fram her face. Her scales are a deep, deep shimmering red that almost seem to be on fire, and her hair is a black that seems to suck the light out of the air itself. Artemis' eyes are a bright gold.
Powers: She can obviously breathe fire, and can create powerful whirlwinds with her breath, she can turn into a large, powerful dragon with the ability of flight and very heightened senses.

Weapon(s): 2 small daggers from the teeth of her father, they have a poisionous burn when cutting through something. Also, in her human form, she's got a long red, barb-like tail that she can use as a whip. Other than that, just fighting skills.
Bio: She was banished to Ryuquila by Kalman himself (Despite his blatant hate for the outlying cities), after he discovered she was planning something traitorous. She was his right hand, but soon saw the error of his ways. Since then, she's tried to establish herself as the gaurdian of the frozen tundra that she must now call home.
Any thing else?: The freezing temperatures do not affect her because her body temperature is at a constant 130+ degrees Farenheit.

Bio: Gafgar is a Black Night. Black Nights use swords and unholy magic to fight and live as an effective combat master. Gafgar grew up in Azalon as just a boy but he studied day and night to learn of the great dark powers that magic could offer. Gafgar looked up to Kalman and wished to join his services but his parents fled to the south and took him with him. He hated them for taking him away to such a cold and icy place. There he practiced his dark sword magic till he had perfected it. Soon afterwards he killed his parents and has mostly been a wanderer ever since. He still resides in Ryuquila however he hates it and wishes he could go back. Something however holds him back and for that reason he remains.

Bio: Dajomih‘s kin were well known for their quality wares, whether it be a simple pocket watch or a intercontinental teleporter they can make if for you for the right price. Shortly before the “”peaceful”” kings demise Dajomih‘s kin were commissioned, by the “”peaceful”” king, to construct at least eight times the amount of swords a normal army wood need. When the King was Slain Dajomih‘s kin were found crafting swords nearby, being blamed for supplying swords to Kalman and his cause, they were slain on the spot without a proper trial. Dajomih managed to escape by blending his albino skin in with the snow covered swamps of Ryuqla. Since then Dajomih has spent the majority of his time either improving his craft or improving his own fighting style.
Any thing else?: When traveling Dajomih keeps his anvil and forging hammer in an large sturdy leather bag slung diagonally over his right shoulder

Appearance: Like this but with light brown hair, blue eyes, no ear rings, not tattoo, and also has sheaths for the swords on his back as well as the bow.

Powers: Can use the water and Ice elements to do many things, he can sense vibrations in the earth, and he can also talk to plants and trees and can use music to get them to aid him. He also is able to use healing magic. Because of his raising he is strong in body and mind, is very swift, has a great endurance, and can see and hear very well. He and his falcon can link minds so that he can see what she sees, his falcon's name is Star.
Weapon(s): Dual katanas, gantlets which he always wears (he made them and it takes a great power to break them), a bow, his harp which can change forms to be a number of instruments, and a set of ninja tools. As he travels he picks up new moves and gets stronger, on his way through a small town he met Sarah and took her under his wing. He also has a pet falcon.

Bio: Having lived in Terrafora for as long as he could remember Neo was shocked when all of these people came into his "territory". As he viewed it this was his hunting ground and they should bug off! However they did not like this idea and refused to move. When he found out that they had lost there home he felt mildly sorry for them. Now he helps them prepare for the coming war.

Bio: Milly is Rachel’s fraternal twin sister that was sent into hiding at the moment of birth. The sisters never knew each other personally, and everything Rachel thinks she knows about her crystal is wrong. It actually connects her to Milly, and allows Milly to see what her sister is doing. Milly was sent to Terrafora where she lived for her entire life. She knows that she has a sister, and watches her through her own crystal. Their parents have long since died, and Milly lives her life mourning them. But still, she keeps an eye out for her sister. She also knows about Roulu’s feelings for Rachel.
Anything Else: She is highly courageous and will do anything to defend Terrafora.

Bio: He grew up as an orphan within the lands of the western nation, doing what little he could to survive by means of stealing money from unsuspecting forest-goers or by playing for people with a lute that he had found in someone's waste pile. As time went on and the boy grew into an adolescent (being sometime considering his kind aged slowly) His skill would grow paramount and he'd find enough funds to repair and improve the condition of his lute. It was around this time, when he decided to hideout in an old house from some pursuers after a fresh steal, that he'd learn the hard way about the 'second sight' that he was gifted with. Having upset two rather disgruntled spectres he had no other choice but to flee out into the open...thus prolonging the chase of his pursuers. Thinking back on the experience, he'd decide to try and make some extra cash on the side by becoming an excorcist; most of he spirits he had encountered afterwards having been susceptible to magic based attacks.
Any thing else?: He almost never speaks and his words tend to be most unsavory when he does; a side effect of having very little interaction with other people as he grew.

Bio: Conryu goes by the name of Ryu. He was raised in the deserts of Shala and he is ferociously proud of his heritage. Whenever he hears someone talk down about Shala, or indeed any other nation, he finds himself unable to prevent an angry outburst that usually gets him in a fight.
He is just barely old enough to remember the good times that they had before the new King brought his darkness to the throne. Influenced by his people and their opinions, Ryu is naturally opposed to Kalman's rule. He joined a mercenary faction to raise money before setting off to find other people opposed to Kalman.
Any thing else?: He is currently wandering alone through the nations, avoiding Kalman's troops and looking for other people like himself. He causes Kalman's men trouble whenever he can, and so has a particularly tenacious Captain and his troop after him.
