Toquah'kan wasn't just your average stallion, although he probably looked like since, well, he didn't have horns or wings or fangs or any of the like that would mark him as "unique". However, considering the former words, he just wasn't your average stallion. For you see, he suffered from multi-personality disorder, splitting himself into two equal halves, although with one or the other it would feel as if they were two independent minds of their own, these two Toquah'kans.

Toquah being the less dominant and more naive and clueless than his other half, Kan, made him more vulnerable to many things. He wasn't a coward, but he was immensely shy, and oh, did I mention how with his shyness, he would therefore "hide" himself, which would force Kan to come out.

Now, since we have aforementioned that Toquah'kan wasn't your average stallion, it can be said that he also had little experience when it came to meeting with new Soquili; considering he had only ever been around his father, Hania, and his sister, Aruna, and his nephew, Shizuka Tsuyoi... well, all right, so Toquah'kan could be said to have some experience, but allow us to say that he was about to be in for a shocker--for soon, he would meet a mare with quite the fiery disposition.

Ember trotted about the forest in search of some lucious berry bushes. She had definitely inherited her father's love of a good snack and berries were just so sweet, juicy and scrumptous!! The small flames in her mane flickered and danced as she searched and scanned the area. It was never too hard to keep her busy or entertained. She ahd a very frisky and playful nature but as much as she looked like her mother, she inherited also her father's good natured temperment and love for fun. For some strange reason, nothing cound infuriate the young mare and it was amazing how much she tolerated from others and still smiled pleasantly with her ever so happy mannerisms.

Not paying attention--for, after all, Toquah had a very short attention span, he literally ran into... something. Not hard, but hard enough to tell his fluttery brain that he had ran into something... or someone... again. Muttering to himself about how he had to fix that habit, he finally glanced up to see who it was--or what is was--that he'd bumped into.

His eyes widened when he saw the mare before him. She was very, very pretty... and she was on fire!!! "I-I'm sorry!" he said, puttering about as he tried to apologize. This mare was probably so angry she literally exuded fire! Worried that he'd angered her even more than she already was, he trembled, waiting for his "execution".

Oh, please, said an unknown, yet familiar voice in his head. She's just a mare. And besides, if you look carefully she's not even really angry! Wondering where those strong thoughts had come from, he shook his head, thinking it was because he'd collided with his head a little too hard. Not your typical stallion, but by contrast, Toquah'kan was a very typical stallion.
