I was thinking of making this a contest, but I guess I won't. (Yet.)
Anyway, here's what it's about, I was given an assignment to personify (give an inanimate object human characteristics) something. Now, what I want you guys to do, is personify something in a short story/paragraph just to see what you all come up with.
I'll use mine as an example.
The main object: A street. My story/paragraph: The street was alive with lights dancing on its weathered face; almot as though it was talking to me in some way. Attention was caught and the spotlight fell on me. Faint whisprs fell on my ears like the street was wishing me luck as though I would be going far away. A sudden wind blew fallen leaves across the street's surface; gentle, like a lover's hand on your cheek. Silence was broken by the hum of chopper blades, and suddenly, the whispers from the street, the suddend wnd, it had all made sense to me.

The Main Object : A Rag Doll
My head is drapped over my masters cooking set. Arms placed in the most unusual way. My master and I had just had tea. Being the doll that I am, I couldn't drink the tea. Here I am drapped over my masters cooking set with tea stains on my rag doll dress. My master is sleeping and her mother throws me into a dark box. I never saw my master again.. I wonder how he's doing..
That might not actually be what you were trying to get us to do. I'm sorry. ^^;;

You told it from the eyes of the object, but you still gave an inanimate object human characteristics, so in my book, it still works. =D
Nice job by the way.

Main Object - The Sky Minor Objects - The Stars, the Moon, and the Clouds
I laid on my back, staring up at the beautiful being above me. Smiling back down at me, the stars danced around the moon, tempting me to come up and play with them. I found myself floating up to them, the clouds ushering me along, assuring me that everything would be okay. When I finally reached the stars, they circled around me and I was standing in a brilliant sea of light. Each star smiled and blinked, small children circled around me, waiting to play a game. I looked behind me to find her - the moon. There she sat, in all her grandeur, nodding her head to me in approval. The crescent shape gave me the warm feeling of having yet another smile stare right back at me. The stars nodded in return, jumping up and down. A strange sort of music filled my ears, like that of a choir singing its own melody that just filled you up. I realized soon it was coming from the stars. Instead of playing, they were giving me one of the best gifts of all: happiness. I smiled, a small laugh breaking from my lips. The clouds bounced a little and carried me back down to Earth. As it placed me softly on the ground, I opened my eyes to find myself laying on the ground the whole time. But the warmth from the stars' song still slept within me. With a smile, the moon, the stars and the clouds carried me off to sleep.
