Nestled on the slopes of the Draca Mountain range and overlooking the Cliff of Fire is a small village carved from the mountain side. Cave mouths have been shaped to fit doors, and holes created to make chimneys and windows. Stones have been placed around the well in the center of the village. A dirt road winds past the well, leading further up the mountain to a large, flat area, filled with hardy mountain crops in various stages of growth. In the opposite direction, it wound down to the foot of the cliffs, and then out of the mountains. There are only three ways to approach the village: by this road, by climbing the 300+ foot cliffs, or by air. People bustle to and fro about the village. Men and women alike work the fields that would provide them with food come winter. In the forge cave, men pound metal into buckets and other useful implements. Women weave and sew, children fetch, carry, and watch. Especially watch. They don't watch for dragons; those are a common occurence. Besides, who needs to fear dragons with Amber in the village? No, they watch for people. Soldiers especially, but also refugees, others fleeing the wrath of the false King and his child-killing wizards. Who would appear today?

Thundering footsteps could be heard as Lilikith's garrison lumbered up the mountian pass, with a newly healed Skyeheart in the middle. "Lilikith, are you sure your scouts were accurate?" "Of course sir, you have little reason to doubt them given their reputation under my command." "Still, it's quite unfantomable. I built my fortress where it was supposed to be as uninhabitable as possible. Who would have guessed that a active village would be so close to my stronghold?"
