After much prodding from many friends to read this one manga, I started reading it...

Read the first 150 issues in two days. Damn hooked to it.

Anyhow, to expand on the first poster up there, this manga/anime's got most things you could be looking for: Fights (tons of it,) blood (tons of it,) fanservice (tons of it,) likeable villains, chicks with huge 'attributes,' swords, crazy masters, a perverted, short old man (a show can't exist without that. Period,) and even some chibis running around and killing stuff with their cuteness.

... Oh, and did I mention the fights?

Though what I liked about this one over other 'fight' manga, is that it actually pays attention to the technical side, even the most over-the-top techniques the main guy uses have a reason to be.

My favorite character overally is Apachai. A Muai Thai master with a killer kick and a kind heart. Other than him, Kisara (after she reforms,) and Niijima are my favorites. Miu, well... I am actually not too fond of The Impossible Breast Monster kind of manga/anime girls, myself. Good thing she's got a good personality to go with her 'size,' or she would be just another braindead bimbo like those you can find in many other manga or videogames. Names shall not be given the whole DoA female crew, for starters?

All in all, I give this one a 9.8/10. It needs MOAR CHIBIS to be perfect (thus far, I only saw Honoka, and then there were chibi Miu and Hermit's sister in flashbacks.)
