Hedwig was sat near the water in this place Ohanzee showed her once. She has a date with him because she needed to tell him something important.
She looked under her left wing, her belly has become big, she was pregnant. Her dream of a family will come true, but she was a little afraid of Ohanzee reaction. Will he be happy to become a father ?

He moved faster, worried that he would be late. His brother had held him up, Kishi angsting in his ear about something. Ohanzee wasn't one to pay much attention. He had a date with Hedwig. Finally he burst through the trees, smiling at the white and black mare who was settled there, giving her a smile. "Hello." he murmured, moving over to her. "I hope I wasn't too late..."

The mind full of question and idea to announce the new Hedwig almost didn't heard Ohanzee. Turning her head toward him she smiled back, her check a little pink.
"You're perfectly in time." She looked at him. She didn't stood up, it may be impolite but he will know already if she did. "Can you sit next to me ?"
She said with her calm voice, even if the sound was a little different than before, maybe much anxious.

He smiled at Hedwig and settled himself, leaning his head in closer to his companion. "How are you feeling today?" he asked, nosing at her mane, to try and brush it gently away from her face. "You look lovely." He opened a small pouch he had been carrying, presenting the mare with a small flower he had found that matched her eyes.

The mare smiled softly at the stallion. "I'm feeling really really good today actually. Even better you're here now." She picked the flower and put it in her tail. It made her blushed a little. "Thank you Ohanzee. And you, how are you feeling today ?" she looked lovely at the stallion. His dark coat made her felt the night, she loved it.

"A bit chill." he admitted, trying to shift so that he was closer to her. Hedwig was warm next to him, and he relaxed visibly. It was just before sunset, and Hedwig looked almost pink in the fading light. He smiled at her. "You sound... anxious, Hedwig." he said finally, giving her a worried look. "Is something wrong?"

Here the time come. She will need to tell him.
"Well it's just i have something important to tell you..... you see i always dream about having a family. But ... hum... what do you think about it ?"
She kept her wings closer to her belly to warm it like a treasure.

He blinked at Hedwig then smiled warmly. "You know I would treasure a family." he chided softly. "It would be an incredible gift, Hedwig. My own childhood was lonely. I would love to share a family with you. Raise our children with love, and laughter." he assured her. He knew she wanted a family, and he would be delighted with one as well.

Her smile become warmer as soon she heard these words. Her heart beat normal now. She nuzzled him and moved her wing from her belly. With a really lovely and soft voice she said : "I'm happy to hear that Ohanzee because you see, i will have babies, your babies."

There was a moment of silence, as Ohanzee blinked at her stupidly. "I- I'm sorry?"
Terror. Absolute terror, shot coldly through his veins. Babies? As in foals? As in the reality of loud, screaming things that got into trouble?
"Babies..." he was happy! Really! And yet the terror was paralyzing. It was one thing to want the foals, but another entirely to realize they were reality.
He nuzzled Hedwig back, wide-eyed. "W- W-"
Breathe! Breathe, Ohanzee you fool!
"When did you find out, Hedwig?"

Hedwig looked at Ohanzee a little worried, he seemed happy but really scared too. It was maybe a too big surprise for him. She put her wing down on her belly and waited a word from him.
"Two days ago, it's why i call you....... are you alright ?"

"I- I'm fine Hedwig. Just very surprised." he leaned against her carefully. "It's wonderful." he gave her a warm smile, silver eyes shining with happiness. "They'll be beautiful, just like their mommy."

The mare felt better at these words. She nuzzled him as he leaned on her side. "Thank you Ohanzee" she smiled, "i'm sure they will be as shiny as you".
Their family, it was a dream, they will be a happy family for sure.

Ohanzee relaxed, laying his head on her side and humming softly. The children in her belly would never, never feel lonely. He would make sure of that... they would know their mother, and their father. Their mother was of the air, and he would be the safe place where they could land. "Thank you, Hedwig." he murmured. "Thank you."
