Kso, JJ is my new roommate. She's 11. She acts very similar to the way I did when I was 11. Minus the weirdness.
She tortures our poor cat. He used to be very arrogant and welcoming to people touching him, now he kind of flinches everytime someone tries to pet him. Why? Because she picks him up all the time, and just generally terrorizes him. I tell her to be nicer to him, but she says she is being nice to him. Bullshit.
So anyway, she was looking for the cat earlier, and I told her I'd help her look for him. I found him before she did in the corner of my parent's closet, and I saw he was sleeping and very content, so I left him alone and didn't tell her I saw him. So all day when she was bored she continued to look for him. And then we hear a meow, and I know exactly where it's coming from. My parent's room, so I go open the door so he can go out, and JJ asks where he was, and I tell her the truth, that I knew where he was but I wanted him to be left alone so I didn't tell her.
So then she goes and complains to her parent about it, and I feel like the bad guy. And it makes me feel like I have a bad rep with her parents too since I barely know one of them.
And speaking of parents, my dad is depressed.
So he's a crabby a**.
He hasn't had work since he hurt is back a month or two ago. He doesn't want to get a real job because he'd have to work under someone. But mum can't advertise his business yet, so he has no work. So he's frustrated he doesn't have anything to do. So he's really snappy. I'm always scared to make a decision or do anything around him because I think he's gonna just snap and start throwing s**t. Like a 4 year old. That's what his tantrums are like. He's stomp around, throw s**t, yell and scream until he gets his way.
It's just really stressing me out, and I feel like I'm on egg shells everytime I'm around him, and mom can't really do much either and it's just.. depressing.
Urghh.

Isn't it your cat? Not hers? Hopefully her parents see through their daughter. And if he is your cat, then you have every right whether or not to tell your roommate where he is.

If something like that situation with the kitty happens again, reaffirm the fact she isn't being nice to him. "I am being nice to him." "No. You're not. He doesn't like the way you treat him." Then walk away with your kitty. Kitty... *purr* I miss my Kyo. ;_;

They talked to her yesterday when we were all kind of sort of outside her parent's room, and she was like "I wanna go find the cat!" and Alex and I both went "Nooo~ c'mon, leave him alone.." "Yeahh.." and they talked to her. So, she stopped messing with him so much, but she still messes with him.
It's better then nothing being done. sweatdrop He was back to his "hey hey -mushy mushy- feed me" earlier this morning, so I'm guessing he recovered.
