Do you make some form of art that is available online? The mods came to the conclusion, that perhaps it wouldn't be so bad to allow you guys to make a little extra gold (wouldn't we all love that?). If you make some form of art that you can sell on Gaia, post a topic (make sure you label the topic as your shoppe), and open up! Just be sure we know it isn't for discussion when we click on the topic.
