Sunny days were just the best. Really.
Valeo couldn't help but purr with appreciation, the bright sun was just perfect for setting gems and jewels up and down the street glittering as merchants showed off their delightful wares, and potential buyers picked up pieces of shiny jewelry to inspect. Unfortunately the little dragon knew his bond would be horribly displeased if he tried to sneak away with some new treasure, so he contented himself to watch from his perch on the awning of his favorite shop. If he was good, it was likely his bond would buy him a new trinket anyway.
The little white dragon stretched out and fluttered his wings a bit, dreaming of what new shinies he could acquire in the future as he watched the bustle below him.

Elohwi had been given some free time to flutter about the city after a particularly arduous experiment involving ketchup, string, and large quantities of uncooked ramen noodles. She'd been at a loss as to how this was supposed to further her human's studies, but Mistress had been happy doing it, so Elohwi supposed it wasn't a waste of time. Also noteworthy was that Mistress had not blown anything up.
Attracted to the market square's bustle and hum of noise, Elohwi noticed many awnings ripe for sunbathing, and decided to indulge. Flitting down, she noticed that one awning already held a dragon, and, curious, she decided to investigate. She chirped to let the dragon know she was coming before settling lightly beside him.
"Hello." she said with a twist of her head, "I'm not bothering you, am I?"

Valeo's ears perked as he heard the chirp, and he watched the female land next to him with a delighted expression on his face.
"Not at all. There is plenty of room and you are not large enough to block my view of the human trinkets," the white dragon chirped in reply. He idly poked the fabric of the awning under him with a clawed talon, and shot another glance downwards as a particularly stunning ruby was picked up by a short gentleman and examined. It did shine so nicely...
It would be so much more pleasant to admire the treasures in the company of another dragon, Valeo was truly a social creature at heart.

((Hope it's okay I join. This is my first time joining a group RP)) Swipe had escaped her human once again. She quite enjoyed this little game that she played. Whenever she got a chance, she would try to give Caprice the slip. A couple seconds lack of attention is all that Swipe needed. Although she loved her bond, as any dragon should, she also loved to explore new places.
Swipe heard hurried footsteps, loud voices and lots of pattering paws a little ways off. She decided to investigate. The sounds led her into a street full of life and motion. She sniffed here, and peered into that. There were so many things to inspect! As she wandered along the street, trying to take everything in, Swipe tripped over something. She looked down to find herself looking at a very pretty, shining rock. As small as it was, it radiated a wonderfully green color.
With extreme delicacy, Swipe picked up her new possession using her teeth. She continued down the street, although now parading her treasure with her head held high.

Elohwi, amazingly, hadn't noticed the trinkets until the white dragon had pointed them out, and she spent several moments just gazing into the heart of the lovely ruby the human male was holding. Dazzled, she almost leapt down to capture it, but knew better than to try. Mistress would be very cross with her if she took something that wasn't hers.
"I can see why you like this spo- Will you look at that!" she exclaimed, pointing with one long whisker at the small dragon carrying off a large emerald in her mouth. The dragon seemed quite pleased with herself, but didn't notice the owner of the booth following her with a large frying pan.
"Uh oh." Elohwi stated eloquently, and leaped off the awning to flutter distractingly about the human's face. Sure, she didn't know the dragon, but that didn't mean she was going to let some human squash her!
"Run!" she chirped loudly.

Out of the corner of her eye, Swipe could see a shape swoop down towards something behind her. She turned to look what this curious activity was... and then she heard the warning chirp.
In all her rush to get out of the way of this human, who was getting redder and redder by the second, Swipe managed to drop her precious stone. She loped down the street and around a corner. There she stopped to listen. All was silent... except for some cursing a little ways off. When she felt it was safe, Swipe peeked out from around the corner to try and find the dragon that had saved her from being smooshed to pieces by that mad-man.

Well, that had been fortunate! The little dragon had dropped the emerald, redirecting the man's attention from Elohwi to the veeeery interested crowd of humans gathering around the scene. Elohwi had flitted away, darting for the cover of the sun-soaked awning. However, in all the commotion, she'd lost sight of the little dragon.
"Did you see where she went?" she asked the white dragon, peering down into the street.

Valeo just blinked in a shocked manner and pointed a clawed talon towards a small alleyway between booths where the little tan dragon had hid.
He couldn't believe the silly dragon had just taken a shiny that wasn't paid for, his bond had always made it very clear that treasures were things that were given to dragons as gifts from their bonds, not things that could be taken. Of course, he never quite understood that a small size was not the only difference between his bond and the bonds of other dragons, and that his own bond found it much easier to make gifts of shiny gems than other wizards who had to work for every meal.

Leaning out from around the corner, Swipe was listening carefully for any further trouble. She always managed to do this. There was always someone or something after her. I guess that pretty rock must have belonged to that raging human. Swipe thought to herself as she inspected her front paws. One of her toes had a trickle of blood down it. She picked up her paw and licked it clean. It was a mere scratch.
Once finished her quick check-over, she looked up and down the street once more. Taking another tentative step forward, Swipe entered the street once more, much more carefully this time. I wonder where that dragon went... The one with the beautiful wings...
