Reason for flying Oceanic: He was going to a table read for his new film.
Other: Before the crash he was a fairly well-known, Scottish (WHOA, didn't expect that either) actor.

Appearance: Dark brown hair, brown eyes. 5'3" tall. She's Japanese (because I hardly ever have american characters xD). Clothes wise she likes comfortable t-shirts especially with some form of fire print. She wears shorts.
Personality: kind, somewhat quiet, intelligent and a follower

Personality: Haiyden is an outgoing, nice, honest guy. But don't let this side of him make you think he can't explode. He has a bad attitude when he wants be. Don't piss him off to bad. Umm....he is a romantic but chooses carefully. He tries to look for the best in people. Usually gets along with everyone. He is also humerous.

Reason for flying Oceanic: Actually, Des didn't fly oceanic. He came to the island for reasons to be revealed in later flashbacks. biggrin
Other: Desmond isn't technically an "other", he lived on the island for three years in "the hatch".

The plane was heading down, down, spiraling, ocean swirling around their heads and then all the sudden... they hit land...

((Aha! I'll be sure to update that. How do you pronounce your character's name by the way? Just want to make sure I say it write. And EVERYONE: My person's name is pronounced You-In, not Ew-in, not Ee-WAN. *shakes head and puts on French accent* stupid Americans...))

As Ewan blinked, the black spots began fading from his eyes. His vision came to him slowly and is it did, all the pain registered in his body. His arms hurt, his legs hurt, his back hurt. Oh, Jesus, his head hurt.

He stood up slowly and looked round to see where he was. An Island? Possibly. Or maybe just the shore of some country. He rubbed his head and brought his hand back in front of his face. Something felt odd... BLOOD! His hand was covered in blood! In panic he glanced around quickly for someone to help him.

Desmond's eyes widened as he heard a huge thump from above. "What did I do?" was his first thought. He looked down at the computer and tried not to forget what he was working on. He typed in the code as tears streamed down his face. 4 8 15 16 23 42. 4 8 15 16 23 42.

Finally, the computer no longer read "SYSTEM FAILURE" but instead it was just a calm black screen with a blinking green cursor. Desmond let out a sigh of relief.

((Just kidding. I like Americans. They have cool accents. And how should we indicate flashbacks? Maybe with a different colour? Or with italics or something?))

"I... I... my head..." Ewan said breathlessly as he continued to feel the back of his scalp just above the start of his neck. He looked up at Liah and asked softly, "Help. Please. Can you have a look at it?" He was begining to get very dizzy and tried to focus his eyes.

((Oh goody! I'd been pronouncing it right! It's like a cool way to spell Lea or Leah.))

((@ Got Scots---HAHA I've been saying your characters name Ewin...I don't like American's accents and yet...I'm American...I love Aussie accent!! smile And ya...I think we should do flashbacks in another color...BLUE!!!! Well it says for flashbacks we can ignore everything...I'll just assume thats for non-flashbacks, as well. If not, I'll change something))

Kate was lying belly-up on the sand in an almost remote place of wherever they crashed. Twenty minutes after the crash, Kate's eyes opened to see the cloudy sky above her. Her back was killing her and she had a momentary memory loss of what happened. When she fully came back from la-la land, she heard screaming and yelling. She looks around and in the near distance, she saw smoke, people running around, suitcases, and other things. She heard people crying and screaming.

She attempted to get up but her back hit to much. Yes, she landed on the sand but it was a hard fall. She waited a few more minutes. It was sore but she got up. She started walking toward the noise and soon, things were coming in clearer. She rushed over to someone (random person) and could see that he had a huge gash across his forehead and possibly a broken arm. "Do you need help? I'm not a doctor but I took classes in high school." She knew this was many years ago, more than ten. but she recognized a broken arm.

"Um ya. My arm really hurts. Is it sprained or broken?" This man was tall with brown hair and a nice tan (a character I'll pick up as mine).
