well, i've posted this on basilmarket, with absolutely no replies, not even a flame, so, time to see if the gaia/maple community can help me out here:
i'm trying to do the lvl 50 quest where you have to kill 100 bellflower roots. only problem is, i haven't found a single map that has only them, or at least, a map that includes 50% of them... all i found was 100 year herb garden (i think that's what it's called) which barely has any bellflower roots. it mostly has the old versions of them. i've also been to the map next to it, not 50-year old garden, but the other one, but it's not much better. it still includes mostly the old guys. so, if you've read all this, congratulations =], for everyone else, here's the question:
"where is a good map to kill 100 bellflower roots? i'm a lvl 50 spearman, 84 att polearm. maxed powerstrike/slashblast, polearm mastery, and hyperbody."
and so people won't ask this too much, i am planning to go hybrid pretty soon

It comes down to maintaining the spawn. You see, as much "fun" as it may seem, I know I had to wade through a couple dozen 100-yr olds before getting to their younger, insane counterparts. So, in short, about every 10-15 kills will guarantee, one some platform, that one of the quest-kills will appear.
Now I'm a Page. So this was tedium galore since more Power Strike is FAR stronger than my slash blast. but you, being a spearman, are built to mob. And mob hard. Consider the exp gain into your equation, and you can rack up %'s faster than you'd realize if you search for JUST quest-kills via weeding out through the 100-yr olds.
That's about as much a suggestion as I can get. I believe the whole quest took me a little under an hour, and that was because (again), I had to mow them down one at a time for max efficiency. Best of luck to you.

that's a really good idea lol
i can't believe i hadn't thought of that
when i work on quests, i usually just go for the quest, and ignore everything else... but yea, thanks for the idea
