The summer fest is kinda fun. Prizes for us are always nice. Usually I'm to busy with the R/L holiday to take part.
Anyhoo. Which team did you pick and why?

I picked Aekea.
I almost picked Durem, then i looked at the banner and the ugly NPC's just kinda changed my mind. I mean the only cute one is Moira and she is in the back making a stupid face. It turned me off. Then I thought "Ima go hang with Liam" Aekea also has Josie (the girl with the ..are those tattoos?) and Sam! the mechanic. (although she isn't on the banner crying )
So yeah thats why i chose Aekea.
That and i was sure every Emo / Goth kid would pick Durem.

I shouldn't have to explain that statement but I will... neutral
What i ment by "every emo/ goth kid will go with durem" is that since thats a popular lifestyle (and every kid i know on gaia currently fits that demigraphic) Durem will have the largest amount of people going with them. Hell, I almost went with Durem until i realized that it would be really imbalanced. Maybe i should have picked Durem - easy win, but i for some odd reason went with Aekea (impressed by the cool NPC's) to try an balance things out more (like i could do that alone. razz ) It wasn't ment to be a "dumb & degrading" description of anyone.

And we are winning! Whoo!
I almost picked Ikea but I picked Durem because I liked the creepy looking piercing/tatoo guy and Moira is cool too. But I don't consider myself 'goth' or 'emo'... stereotyping is really dumb and degrading.

Saying someone is goth or emo isn't dumb or degrading. It's a look, or a way of being. I should know because i have been punk/grunge/goth since my early teens.
Dumb & degrading is if i said every emo hurts themself & therefore they are dumb. There's a difference. So please don't sterotype me as someone who judges all because i can see individual groups for what they are. Some people want to have a certain look, theres nothing dumb or degrading about it.
