Well, it seems like nowadays videogames can be so advance that if you just immerse yourself into it, its like you're inside your own personal reality. A reality inside a box as so to say. And in a world of fast food life, it seems almost fitting for us to find a nice little escape into this fantasy world. So, come share the realities that you experience. Be it from pac man to Final Fantasy 12, discuss about video games, what they mean to you, what your favorite kind are, perhaps even give us a list? Anticipating any up and coming games? Sure there's hundreds of questions one could ask and answer here, so make yourself at home, pull up a joystick and chat about what you play ^_^

Well I have to say you guys have some pretty good stuff on your lists, and mine includes quite a bit of them lol.
Generally I like Rpgs and Srpgs, probably the second more so because they generally have a very compelling storyline, even within their battles. So anywho, Out of the SRPGS; phantom brave, la purcelle, final fantasy tactics, and fire emblem. I own a few more SRPGS, but I haven't played them yet so can't say anything about them.
Rpgs; Shadow hearts (my most favorite series), FF8 (#1), FF6 (#2), and rest of ff as #3, Kingdom Hearts I & II, .hack sign, xenosaga, Star Ocean 3, Wild arms (III, and IV), dark clouds, mario rpg, lost kingdoms and legend of dragoons
Fighting games; Soul caliburs, and super smash bros.
Shooters/adventure; Metal gear (series), Brother in Arms, and there's a few here and there but meh (oh and played halo, liked the second's story line, but I wouldn't personally buy it)
Horror games; Silent Hill (especially 2&3), F.E.A.R. Fatal Frame (1,2,3), and Parasite Eves
and finally soul reaver 2 which I suppose would go in adventure but meh.
But anywho lol I am sure I have quite a few tucked away in my brain that I can't remember, so... that was listing, so now time for discussion. So hey Kiki, since you liked Phantom Brave, if you haven't tried it, you should try La Purcelle, it is created by the same company ...er I'd let you use my system so you can play it or I'd just buy you a new/used one haha ^_^

(I was going to make a discussion thread, but I'll wait until after exams when I actually have time to make a coherent post). I don't really have many games, so generally what I have is what I like.
I SEE DIABLO II. COME DORK WITH ME TT___TT Favourite character class? |D AND CHAMPIONS OF NORATH. I went to a friend's house to play a 4 player game. I wish we did it again (we didn't get all that far); I miss my tiger berserker :< Although it wasn't nice when the drow(?) lit a barrel which exploded in my face *I dieded :<* And is Sacred still buggy? :/
Also, I see Shadow Hearts! Played it for 2 hours, wanted it sobad :< The long panning time before battles kind of irked me though.
Stuff I played and enjoyed:
Chrono Trigger (FIRST RPG I every played, and the BEST :< )
FF6 (Comes soclose, Kefka was awesome in so many ways)
Diablo II (I can't believe, what, the 3rd game I ever played is Diablo. I HAD A GREAT CHILDHOOD |D )
Ragnarok Online (only because of the community. Not sure if I should start up again)
RayStorm (I just saw a vid in YouTube that made me cry with the beauty of it all)
Metal Slug X & 3 (even though I suck at them |D )
Warcraft III (and its mod games. thinking of starting DotA)
Command & Conquer (Red Alert as well. LIGHT TANKS ILU)
SUPER MARIO CART (and I mean the one on the SNES)

OK, I've been away for... what a month now? (From this particular thread) and I must say that in that month I've found a few new things to play. Here's some more:
DS: Drawn to Life (Highly recommend)
Wii: Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party (Another DDR game ^_^ )
MMORPGS: Perfect World (It's like making a Sims character then sending them into a fantasy universe)
2Moons (Haven't played much of this one, but I kinda like it, based on the 5 mintues of actual play I did.)
and I did some digging in my vast library of games.
N64: OgreBattle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber (Probably the best OgreBattle I've played, highly recommend.)
Bomberman 64 1 & 2. (Recommend, but not highly.)
