I like Kohaku, he is still so young yet he has to deal with what Naraku did to him. I feel bad for him though, he doesn't deserve what happened to him.

I feel bad for him though, he doesn't deserve what happened to him. very tru... he was so young when he went to slay his first demon and it went wrong... possibly cruching his future hopes of becoming a demon slayer... he was also a very sensible boy who wasnt suited for demon slaying... i dont blame him for not wanting to remember what happened to him, because slaying your own relatives and friends isnt a really cheerful memorie gonk DAMN THAT NARRAKU!! domokun

Kohaku. Kohaku-kun!
I adore Kohaku-kun. He's so brave and intelligent for trying to thwart Naraku like he's doing. It's upsetting that he probably won't make it back to Sango-san alive, though--he's dead as it is, and Takahashi-senpai isn't exactly notorious for giving everyone a happy ending. Unfortunately, the way I see it played out, is that either Naraku kills him for deceit, or he returns to Sango with his memories, but they have to remove the shard to complete the jewel, hence dying in her arms. Upsetting, hm?
He's so overlooked in the Inuyasha fandom, though. I only know of one literate Kohaku roleplayer on the board, while you can find bunches of illiterate Sango-sans, or Miroku-samas, or Inuyasha-samas, etcetera. It's really a shame, he's such an awesome character so overshadowed.
Kohaku-kun is one of my favourites, handsdown. He's just so...awesome! His VA did an awesome job in 163, too. It was so convincing...

He's cute. I feel bad that he lost his memory. Also I hope that he gets back to Sango soon. And that she will help him with his memories if the return.

I know, but me being the canon supporter I am, I can't see KohakuxRin happening. Unfortunately, Kohaku's not the sort of character you'd expect Takahashi-sensei to give a happy ending; really, it's impossible to make him live at the end of the series. Just like Kikyou--she's not a bad character, but there's no way she'll get a particularly happy ending, and Kohaku's the same way. Except, Takahashi-sensei's admitted that she doesn't really favour Kikyou, but hasn't said anything against Kohaku...
That aside, I'll give you my reasons why I don't see Kohaku living at the end of the series.
1.) He's already dead. Kohaku was dead when he was buried, unlike his sister, and he was dead when Naraku revived him with a shard--again, unlike Sango. His sole purpose is to toy with the hearts of the Inu-tachi, namely Sango-san. Naraku can use Kohaku to distract the group while he's plotting or particularly weak, so that the taijiya is on their minds, in stead of the wretched hanyou. Fact is, Kohaku's dead, and the only thing keeping him alive is the shard in his back, the tainted shard from Naraku. Kohaku's not really alive; he's just a shell of his former self, and even if by some miracle he lives after the shard is remove, he still would not be the same.
2.) The Inu-tachi has to remove the Shikon no Kakera from his back to complete the jewel, it's an inevitability. Sango herself has brought it up once, in episode 127, after Kagome has left for her own time. Inuyasha assures her that they won't let Kohaku die, but I think he was just being nice, because, for the third or so time, there's no way it can happen. The shard equals his life.
3.) He'll have to die, but I think Sango will give him the proper sendoff, being the loving older sister she is. Instead of just removing the shard quick to get it over with, I think she'll reminisce on the good times with him, and make sure he's happy so he can die in peace, pass away to the afterworld with no regrets. At least, that's what I'd make her do. =]
...wow, I got repetetive there. Oh well. I still luff my Kohaku, but I just can't see him living much longer after Naraku's demise.
