The temperature was rising, so to Eric it seemed like the perfect time to head out to the ocean or a pool. So it's no surprise he decided to head over to that new tower place. It had a pool, and since it was a wizard's pool it was more than granted that it was going to be fun. He had wanted to bring his sister with him, but she had a part-time job now so she couldn't come. He'd just have to bring her some other day.
When he first arrived the whole asian thing seemed overwhelming, but he got used to it after a while, he got his directions from the nice people at the reception and headed straight away to the pool. Turns out it was free during this first couple of weeks! Quickly he changed clothes and dove into the refreshing water.

Sasha shielded her eyes from the sunlight as she looked up at the big anf beautiful building. "Tower of Leaves, it's called. Bloody gorgeous." She pulled open the doors and took in all there was to see. The lovely oriental interior was cozy and welcoming. A front desk stood opposite her, which she started towards. "Er, hello, my name is Sasha Amherst, and I was wondering if I could stay here for a while. I was staying at the Leaky Cauldron previously, but I had to leave because of space issues." A sharp looking woman behind the counter nodded, and replied in a thin, reedy voice, "Yes, that can be arranged, Miss Amherst. In the meantime, you may leave your things here, and explore the Tower as you wish. There is a directory right...here." She pointed to a small glass holder filled with brochures. "Take one." Sasha nodded in thanks and pulled out a small booklet. "Let's see here...third floor is bathroom...oh. They've even got a pool. But perhaps...Right. I'll go to the library first." She walked onto a large moving staircase and drummed her fingers on the railing as it moved leisurely upwards. "Oh bloody hell...I forgot to ask how much it is to stay here...nevermind..."

Leisurely, Eric relaxed his body and let himself float on the water. There weren't many people around so it wasn't all that noisy. And as people usually do in relaxed situations, he started thinking about his own life. The future, the present, but mostly the past. Sighing, he pushed those thoughts away. What was done, was done. He went back under and peered into the library for a moment.

Sasha stepped off onto a platform and stopped in front of the doors to the library. The sheer size of the room was astounding, as she pulled open the large doors. Rows of towering bookcases lined the walls, softly lit by the soft light from above; the swimming pool. Sasha made a mental note to go upstairs later and view the room from there. In the meantime, she would go through as many books as she could. She hadn't read any thing other than newspapers ever since her arrival at the Alley. Books were nice for a change.

Slowly sinking, Eric calmly watched each person inside the library in turn. He enjoyed people watching, wondering who they were, where they were going and why they were there. Like that girl walking in.
Where did she come from?
Why was she there?
What was her name?
Maybe it was Joanne, or maybe it was Sasha.
Then he thought about it. It was Sasha! He had seen her the other day near the other girl and her rat. Excited at meeting her again, Eric waved, maybe she'd come take a swim too. but she wasn't lookng at him. Instead, he tried knocking. but see through as they were, the rocks were still rocks and therefore quite hard. All he managed to do was hurt his knucles and cry out in pain while clutching his fist.

Sasha absentmindedly pulled out book after book and read each. However interesting the books were though, she could not help but be distracted. She felt as though she was being watched; a strange feeling really. After gazing down at numerous books for so long, she hadn't realized that there was a dark shape hovering above her, that looked very much like an obstruction of the light the filtered down from the upstairs pool. She quickly tilted her head up at the pool and squinted.

There are many rules where swimmers and the like are concerned. And right now Eric was deathly sure that not opening his mouth to yell out in pain while under water was one of them.
Carefully he held his injured hand and cursed the invisible stones. Quickly though, he waved at Sasha - flashing what was probably an unnoticable grin, and quickly rose to the surface before his dwindling air supply ran out.
