Story Kiskjana, a world where the exotic is the ordinary, where the strange and magical is the everyday. For over 65 years, Emperor Maginoff has ruled and, in that time, no wars have ever broken out among the five countries under his rule, no strife has ever stricken the land. Until a fateful night, over a year ago. In the Imperial City, the emperor died of an illness that had long afflicted him. In his absence, a new force has risen, claiming that the emperor did not die of disease, but of poison, a poison that they had been feeding him for months and months, and that they were going to rule now. Soon attacks on the count's and countess's castles began to happen, leaving only two out of the five lands with their rulers. Forces have begun to amass, a huge battle is about to break out. Who will win? Who will survive? Only time will tell...

Races Many foreign continents have sought the control of Kiskjana, and have tried to conquer it time and time again, but have failed each and every time. The native beast people were too powerful and defeated the human and elven forces. There are some human and elven settlements, however, thanks to the emperor. Canis: The dog-people, these people are powerful with supernatural strength, speed and stamina. They are highly prized as warriors and swordsmen and are often used as gladiators in the imperial arena. Their culture is steeped in religion and often come from the plains of Granis. Felicis: Half cat, half human, these beings are natural theives. They are fast, agile, and smart. They have the ability to scale walls with no tools and have acrobatic feats that they often use to dodge incoming attacks. They are also naturals at picking locks, and make great assassins as well. They are often from the forests of Blackwood and have worship at least once a day. Avos:The bird people of Kiskjana, these beings are able to fly, but have difficulty running. Their legs are completely stiff, unable to bend. They have magical abilities and can use swords and bows as well. They make can only use light armor, as any other armor is too heavy for them to move. They are also very smart and are often used in battle as sky knights and mage bombers. Avos appear the most frequent in the costal region of Hlora or the mountains of Ymir. They are non-religious, and therefore have no gods. Reptilis: The reptilis are a lizard man race . They are smart and strong and also excrete a natural poison that they can use to laquer their weapons. They have poor stamina and cannot take many hits. They also lack a natural agility that allow them to dodge incoming attacks and so make poor theives. They can be mages, though not very powerful ones, and can be good fighters, their poisons making their weapons stronger. The reptilian race is prevelantly found in the swamps of Solais and are triabal as well, making them very religious. Humans: Well balanced, These people make good anything. They have great potential and can do almost anything. They have average everything and thus, cannot be the best of anything, but also cannot be the worst. They are versitile and intelligent. Their homes are found in any province and are religious as they want to be. Elves: Elves are the most intelegent race as well as having the most magic power. They have poor stamina and strength, but average agility. They are the best mages in the world, but make ver, very poor swordsmen. The elves prefer either coastal or forest homes, but in either place they are the most religious race and meditate to their god for eight hours as opposed to sleeping.

Factions Empire's Army: The smallst faction, the army is the elite unit for the empire. These professional soldiers are the most powerful people on the side of good, but are the least versitile. They abide strictly by the laws and restrictions of their religion and can only worship gods of the righteous. The Resistance: A.K.A. The emperor's revenge, a rag-tag group of mercenaries and wanna-be soldiers make up the majority of this group. This group contains a more diverse group of individuals that may not always abide by the laws. They are not as powerful as the Army, however, but make up a large portion of the resistance effort. They are the most adaptive and can worship all but gods of absolute evil. The Serf's Army: By far the most brutal part of the resistance, the serf's army works with blatant disregard to any form of law or religious restriction. They will go to any lengths to win a fight and don't care who they step on to do it. They are the moderate power of the Empire's remaining force and are made up of semi-organized bandits, making them the most likely to be traitorous. The Priori Sanctum: The bulk of the evil army, these soldiers are evil incarnate and will fight for their change in government at any cost. They want to rule over the countries and they have already proven that by poisoning the emperor. They worship evil gods and are already considered an evil cult. Hellfire Squad: The Hellfire Suad is the elite group in the Priori Sanctum. They are the deadliest group of soldiers in the evil army, having mastered dark magic and the ability to instantly summon powerful weapos and armor stright to them. They cannot, however, use conventional armor and must be a spellblade. They worship the same gods as the Priori Sanctum. The Will of Sanctum: The newest regiment of the evil army, it is made up of only citizens fighting under the threat of their families' death. They are versitile and can worship whomever they please. They are the weakest regiment of the Priori Sanctum. They have the highest chance of betrayal compared to the other groups in the Priori. Classes MAGIC Mage- A standard spell caster of great skill. They can cast a variety of spells, including illusion, black magic and healing. They can also create potions. Their physical weapons are staffs and daggers. Cleric- A warrior-priest that can fight using any weapon or armor, but not as well as other fighter classes. They can cast healing spells that heal the living and harm the dead. They also can use spells that summon holy fire and light to damage enemies. Their spells are not as strong as the priest. Spellblade- A mage-warrior that can cast black magic and use any blade or armor. They cannot create potions and are not as powerful fighters as swordsmen or as good spellcasters as the mage. Hellfire squad spellblades cast spells of darkness instead of fire, ice or lightning spells. Priest- A holy man that casts light and healing spells. They are powerful against the undead and can bring one back from the brink of death. They have poor stamina and are horrible at melee. They use healing staves for combat. Combat Myrmidon- An agile swordsman of great skill. They are fast and strong, but with low stamina. They can use any blade, with the exception of a two-handed blade, but very thin armor. They are fast fighters and need thin armor to move at a speed faster than an average swordsman. Swordsman- A strong swordsman with skill and power. They are not agile or fast and use heavy to light armor. They can use any blade, including two-handed blades and have great stamina. Cavalier- A horseriding knight that can use longswords and lances. They are skilled and fast. They are agile and powerful, but have little manuverability and cannot hit enemies behind them. They also have a lower stamina than other combat units. Paladins- Heavily armored cavaliers that can use any weapon. They are much slower than other units, but have the best strength and stamina of all the units. In a comparison, these units are like the tanks of armies. They also cannot attack enemies behind them. Knight- Slow, heavily armored infantry on foot. They are still faster than the paladin, but not much. They are not agile at all, but has great strength and stamina. They have difficulty manuvering and prefer lances. Warrior- A fighter that has great strength and speed and medium stamina, but must use heavy armor, which is restricting. They can use any weapon and is very skillful, but not as much as the mymidon and the swordsman. They can avoid a slow attack, but not much faster than that. Brigand- An axe-wielding fighter that is not very skillful, but has amazing stamina and can use any armor. They are strong and fast, but have very low intelligence. They have great stamina, but isn't really agile enough to dodge attacks. Bandit- A versitile class that can use any weapon and armor, is fast and very strong. They can use any armor, but are very uneducated and none too agile either. They do haver some skill and average stamina. Warlord- A violent, heavily armored warrior that can use any weapon. They attack with little skill, but the great strength. They have astounding amounts of stamina and speed, but no agility at all. They are very uneducated and refuse to even be healed by magic. Stealth Thief- An agile class that uses pure speed and stealth to attack rather than charging in. They have the ability to pickpocket and pick locks, plus they can disarm a trap. They are very smart, but have less stamina than the mage. Light armor is the only choice of the thief. They use dagers to attack when they are forced to fight. Assassin- A stealthy warrior that kills in the shadows. They have great agility and speed and medium strength. They can only use light armor and use daggers and bows instead of the longsword or shortsword. They are smart, but not enough to disarm a trap. Nightblade- A stealthy spellcaster that uses magic to attack in the dead of night. Often used for the same reason as the assassin, nightblades can attack with daggers, but are much stronger with magic. They use black magic and illusionary magic. They are agile and smart, but have little stamina and strength.

Counties Granis, Agriculture Center Ruler: Countess Aria Nelata, now deceased Population:122,652 Capital city: Oserius Surrounded by mountains, Granis is a valley rich in minerals and nutrients vital to farming. The entire landscape is flat and filled with lush vegitation. Farming is the economy in Granis, almost every farm has some sort of farm. It ships out food to every country and is considered the most important country on the continent. It is the home to the tribal Canis people, whom are often used as hired labor on the farms. Dotted across the landscape are small towns and tribal settlements. In the center of the valley is the capital, Oserius. Surrounded by white walls with a once beautiful castle right in the middle, this town alone has at least a quarter of the entire county's population. The town guard was formerly one of the best on the continent, but the Priori Sanctum has decimated its numbers, as well as the castle and family that they had once served. The rest of the city is safe, so it is still the greatest city in the county and offers the greatest bounty of goods and equipment. Blackwood, The Painted Forest Ruler:Countess Palona Renaia, currently alive Population: 20,000(estimated) Capital city: Nerandiil While the name of this region may be Blackwood, it is far from dark and black. The most colorful region of the continent, this is home to many exotic plants and natural medicines. The landscape is one big forest, vivid pinks and oranges from plants on the forest floor seem to radiate to the neon yellows and greens from the leaves of the trees. Wild animals as colorful as the foliage roam the forest, all of them unsuitable for consumption and can kill any traveler with ease. There is one city in the entire forest and that is the capital. It has over Eighty percent of the population in it and is the only known place to get items and weapons. The city is surrounded by blocks made from a rare ore that shimmers in a rainbow of colors when struck by light. The castle is made from the same ore and shimmers all day long from the artificial light created by a magical field around the castle. The town itself is anything but beautiful, as the streets are paved with nothing but gravel and the buildings made out of the strong wood from the surrounding forest. The forest is, perhaps, the only thing that has saved the countess, it is almost impossible make it past the native animals and the tribal Felicis that live outside the city gates. Ymir, The Great MountainsRuler: Count Valus Urgoth, Now Deceased Population: 106,328 Capital City: Yggdrasill A country completely made up of small mountain towns, save for the capital. Sparse amounts of vegitation dot the landscape, shrubs and grassy weeds are the only plants other than the spruce, pine and ash trees that lgrow up the side of the mountains. Small encampments of Avos are scattered around towns, looking for employment by the empire or its enemies. The capital town is named for the ancient belief that the tree in the center of the town is home to the gods themselves. The tree, an ash so tall that the top isn't visible. The bottom is the former home of the count, who was found dead with a stab wound through his heart. The rest of the town is made of plaster and log homes, norse in fashion. The finest weapons and armor come from Yggdrasill. It is requested by the finest warriors and swordsmen in the nation. Hlora,The White Coast Ruler: Count Issac Erinsson, cureently alive Population: 562,985 Capital city: Star City The white coast is the largest provinceon the continent, well over two hundred thousand square miles. The western borer of Hlora is entirely mountainous and the eastern coast is a white beach before a stretch of beautiful blue ocean. The middle of the province is filled with rolling hills. The most beautiful province, it is a very popular vacation spot. The population is the highest here, it is home to the largest cities on the continent. Three of the cities, in fact, have a population of over sisxty thousand people. The forested region is a protected area, used to save the rare speies of the continent. Hlora is renouned and famed for its capital city, which is the largest and most beautiful city on the continent. The white marble walls and pure silver gates are just the entryway to a city with giant parks with natural lakes and beautiful art. With dozens of art museums and libraries for the intellectuals and the imperial arena for less sophisticated tastes. The castle is the known as the center of culture in the Star City. The theatre is located in the west wing and the center of natural history is in the west wing. The castle itself is made of a rare metal that is only found in the mines beneath the castle. All armor and weapons made from this metal have the ability to absorb magical enhancements for a permanent enchantment that never needs recharged. These weapons are rare and highly sought after by mages and swordsmen alike. The reasoning behind the name "Star City" is the shape of the town and the look of the castle when it is hit by the light. Both look like stars from above, especially the castle. The count of this province is the only human count on the capital, he is revered for his political record and was given his position as the highest honor. There have been eight attempts on his life, all unsucessful. He is now in his castle, never seeing any visitors in fear of an attempt on his life. Solais, the Imperial Province Ruler: Emperor Maginoff, now deceased Population:40,000(estimated) Capital City: The Imperial City The capital province, it is not a very beautiful place, or heavily populated, but it is home to the greatest castle in all the land. The castle town is the only "town" in the entire province. The surrounding is the biggest swamp in the world, and is deadly as any other. Filled with quicksand, deady poisonous snakes, as well as other creatures, only the native Reptilis brave the depths of these lands. There are unconfirmed rumors of ancient ruins in the depths of this swamp, but no one is willing to go in to the swamps to find out. The imperial city is the nastiest city on the continent. The streets are mud, the buildings are made of almost driftwood quality lumber. The castle is the only prominent structure of the city. It is made of simple white marble with a silver gate. The castle is now in the same state as the surrounding city, however. The palace was destroyed in the raid after the emperor's death by the poor citizens of the town, whom were trying to break in for something to sell for enough money to live. There are no worthwhile goods here now, unless you like second hand clothing and poor quality food.

Gods Pelagius, God of the good and lawful: Pelagius is the greatest god of the almighty, his worshippers gain the power to spontaniously heal themselves over time, making any wound that doesn't instantly kill non-fatal. Solstein, God of the saintly: Solstien is a highly revered good of the holy light and flame. His worshippers have the power to create a beam of holy light to damage their foes or heal the wounds of the companions once a day. Emeria, Diva of the Righteous Thief Emeria is the goddess of the thief who takes from the rich to give to the poor, the ruler of illegal justice. She grants her worshippers supernatural speed and agility for a short time, when it is requested. Leiastia, Goddess of magic: Leiastia is the mistress of magic and a neutral god. She has the power to restore the magical power of her worshippers when they run out of it, but only once a day. Mages are often the ones to worship her for this reason. Chroma, Goddess of time Chroma is the ruler of time immemortal, the creator of life and death and is neutral. She grants her worshippers the power to turn back time on one subject or slow time on an enemy once a day. Zyr, God of evil and chaos Zyr rules with an iron fist over his worshippers. He is the only god that demands at least a smallsacrifice everyday. His power is granting great strength and stamina for one battle once a day. Ayem, God of the Dark Knight Ayem praises the evil and the unrighteous. He demands at least one hour of worship a day. He grants them with the ability to attack an enemy with black hellfire. Roht, God of the Lawful Assassin Roht governs those who have embraced cruelty, but still follow the rules of the world. He grants the power to paralyze an enemy for no more than five seconds.

Gender: Male Class: Mage God: None Faction: The Resistance Appearance: Genrain is a very colorful being. He has a bright blue muscular torso and a very powerful looking beak. His body is bright blue with red tips on the feathers on his wings. He has red rings around his eyes and a beak that is yellow with a black tip. He wears a blue robe with gold lining around the neck. It has no sleeves at all for easy flight and landing when the need to travel arises. Personality: Genrain has always been kind, even to total strangers. His family raised him to be the kindest person he could be, even to those that may be cruel to him. He grew up with little, so he learned to be grateful for what he has. Weapon of Choice: Dagger Bio: Genrain grew up in a small town in Hlora, where the nobles dared not tread. He came from nothing, his family poor and destitute. His father was a mercenary, a swordsman by trade. He was killed in an unfortunate accident involving lightning and flying too high. Genrain took it upon himself to take care of his mother in his father's stead. He studied magic for three years at the academy in Star City and soon became a certified mage. For years now, he had worked in a mercenary company, doing odd jobs for the people of Hlora. But a few months ago, his mercenary company joined The Resistance and now he fights for the sake of saving the people he loves. Appearance: Rekha is small and lean, with long legs that make her look taller. Though she is slender, she has built up muscle on her legs and arms from her work and is very flexible. Rekha does not have a thin appearance, despite her low weight, because of her lean muscles and naturally curved torso. As a felicis, she has feline ears instead of human ones, a long tail, and cat legs from the knee down. All of her feline parts are covered in short, glossy black fur. Her human skin is very light in contrast to her dark cat body. Rekha's face is cat-like in shape, with thin, pale lips, a small, snub nose, and high cheekbones. Her eyes are large and a natural amber color, subtle enough to pass as brown from a distance. Rekha has long, straight black hair that comes to the middle of her back. For everyday, she ties it in a long tail, or wraps it in a headcloth. She wears simple black breeches and a sleeveless, hooded tunic. Black cloth gloves cover her hands and a black scarf covers her neck and chin. She keeps multiple daggers on a belt around her waist, as well as several hidden in her tunic and breeches. Rekha doesn't wear shoes, as her cat feet are tough enough. Personality: Rekha is a gentle person at heart, but circumstances have hardened her into a bitter, cold exterior. She tries to keep a medium between the hard assassin she must be for work and the kinder person inside. When she has a job, she will become a different person, unfeeling and without remorse. Rekha does not like this side of her, but she is willing to keep it around to preserve her job and sanity. Having grown up with little and struggled to get to where she is, she is protective of her position and will do anything to preserve her well-being. Weapon of Choice: Dagger Bio: Rekha was born into a poor, overcrowded family in the slums of Nerandiil, the youngest of several children. As the runt in a home where there was little to eat, she soon learned to fend for herself. She grew up, bullying and threatening to get what she needed from her older siblings. When Rekha was old enough, she decided to seek more out of life and left to find others like her. She eventually found a secret group of assassins hiding in the city, where they were available for hire. Rekha was admitted in and began training as an assassin. During her career, she rose through the ranks as a stealthy and resourceful assassin. Soon, the young killer-for-hire found herself attracting attention from higher up. The countess of Blackwood forest asked Rekha to work for her. She agreed, and became the pet killer of the countess. Since then, Rekha has been the guard in the shadows for the countess, invisible and unrecognized, but powerful. She also leaves the castle at times, following spy leads to check up on and eliminate threats. Rekha does not care about the different factions waging war, but simply sides with those who pay her.
