For those who dont know, if you are a SPARTAN, they are actually members of the navy, so please change your rank according...also, unless i or the vice captains set it, please start off as a private (depending on what you are, unless instructed to raise your rank. those who have high ranks will stay that way for now as squad leaders and the like. SPARTANS have different ranks from the navy, as they are mostly just Petty Officers. if im still wrong someone correct me. Thank you

But Avery J. Johnson is a spartan-I and now he is Sergeant Major of the marines.

tell me some more about the SPARTAN I's....plus but see, he's a Marine, not technically a SPARTAN anymore....if you can think of a loophole let me know too

Actually SPARTANs cannot get ranks like seaman because they are Non-commissioned officers. Their ranks only go from Petty Officer Third Class to Master Chief Petty Officer of the Navy. That is why John's rank hasn't advanced in years. He is at the highest rank for a Non-commissioned officer.

Ok Jonathan-096 trained as a marine after he became a spartan then he got the first sargent rank yet he is still a spartan/marine.

But you said that he is frozen a lot so their is no possible way that he could be a First Sargent. I am sorry but their can't be any possible way.

it possible jonathan was taken away with his brother when he was one year old because his mom worked at ONI so his real age is 34 and he was frozen for about five years so he looks 21 but his real age is about
29.

Ok. First of all, the SPARTANs were taken away for the Project at six. And their is no way he could really be 29 or 34, however old he is. Besides it wouldn't matter how old he was when he was kidnapped (and the UNSC wouldn't kidnap them at that age! They need time to mature and grow at that stage of life.). All SPARTAN-IIs are around their 40s during the events of Halo 2/3. I have been part of the military most of my life and their is no freaking way that at that age they could be at that rank for that little amount of fighting. I am sorry but I am telling you the truth. I am very sorry but this is how it works.

SPARTAN-IIIs do not have MJOLNIR Armor but SPI (Semi-Powered Inflitration) Armor. It just can't be possible that he is a SPARTAN-II. Besides, the surviing ones are still on Onyx. Even at his age (29 or 34) he would be part of Beta Compant who were all killed by Covenant Forces except for Tom and Lucy.

Wolf spirit, unless you read the fourth book, which im pretty sure all of us here have, you wouldn't know what that armor is. But they show it in one of the videos I've seen, all those armored guys looking over the battle between marines and covenant, that is the III generation of spartans in the SPI armor. (3rd or 4th generation...3rd right?) And, just because I feel random right now, the SPI armor is crap in my opinion.
