I don't know why but sites like Newgrounds people make movies on how Luigi is jelious of Mario because of success in the games and how Luigi doesn't have any fans but I think that Luigi is loved just as much and if not maybe even a little more then Mario and I hate seeing some of the things that people come up with on Newgrounds because to me it seemed like Mario and Luigi are together in the older games (Where as you could chose wheather you wanted to be Mario or Luigi.) with a few execptions like Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine but now Luigi has his own game (Luigi's Mansion if you didn't know already.) and I liked that a lot. He as also been in all of the Mario sports games so for people to say that he's been left out is completely wrong to me.

Mario may be Nintendo's main man, but Luigi is not left out, oh no.
Plus, Luigi would never envy his brother. They are VERY good friends with each other. Sure Luigi may have a little envy, but would'nt go to extremes with it.

Though I agree that Mario is a more household name than Luigi, if you hear the green plumbers name it is instantly recognisable.

Thank you this is what I've been trying to tell those people (Especially the points that when you say Mario Brothers they are both thought of and not one and also the fact that they are brothers) but they don't want to listen. (Sure there might be a little bit of envy but not enough to make Luigi jelious or anything like that.) And personaly I don't think there is any at all.

Actually, they did have a little proof that Luigi was jealous in the original Paper Mario. If you can find his secret diary then he mentions that when he sees the "shooting star" that he wished he had Mario's bed (the top bunk).

Yes, Luigi is a bit jealous. If you read the wishes in Super Mario RPG, there's a wish that says "I wish I could be a famous plumber like my brother, Mario." But it would never turn into violence. He may be jealous, but he also has great respect for mario and vice vercia. They show great cooperation when together. Like Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. I will now quote Luigi. "Go, Wiji!" (it's probably spelled 'uigi)

Yes I understand all that but c'mon, I mean it's not like you couldn't be Luigi in all of the Super Mario Brother games... I think the only game where you couldn't be Luigi so far is Mario 64 and Super Mario Sunshine. Yes there was some jeliousy there they are stll thought as the Mario brothers if one is mentiuoned you usually emedatly thin of the other so how people get off doing some of the things they do on places like Newgrounds is rediculous to me. They have always been together in my view and they will never part and go their seperate ways. If Nintendo did this they would be making a huge mistake. (Even though I don't think they will do this no matter how much they seem to show this.)

Luigi is jealous of Mario, but not very Jealous. Saying Luigi isn't jealous isn't at jealous at all, is completely not true.

There was that scene in SSBM when Mario is about to do his battle in adventure mode but then luigi jumps onto him pushing him down onto his doom - I thought that was funny xd

Hey, Newgrounds is supposed to be a site that has flash movies that make fun of things. You can't expect it to say anything nice about anything. Newgrounds is known for having flash movies that make fun of everything popular and calling a lot of cool things gay. There were even X-box fanboys making fun of Halo 2 on Newgrounds!
