A friend was telling me about this amazing book the other day and I finally went out and bought it. I have yet to crack the spine for a reading, but from the pawing through it I have done it looks astounding.

There are footnotes to follow and pages with type only at the bottom, or only in the corner, or sideways. Or perhaps only one word on it. The whole thing looks arty and intellectual.

I promise to post more once I start reading the book itself, but in the meantime, has anyone read this book or anything of a smiliar nature?

Awesome! I'm going to have to check it out now. Especially since the guy is Polish.

(Freaks out at anything Polish. smile )

I'm glad I could suggest something new and interesting for you! I'm always on the lookout for nifty and new ideas in literature.

My friend was telling me about that book. I thought it sounded interesting, but they said that is was confusing. I would still like to check it out though. I had forgotten about it; thank you for reminding me.

Edit: I just read kind a review on it, and it actually sounds a little creepy. lol.

...birds creep over tin roofs, like criminals with tap shoes...
I Hear Thunder

I got it, and im currently reading it, and have been so for a couple of years now.
This book SCARES ME!

I dream about houses that define physics, and i dream about them often. They are like a normal house on the outside, but once you get in, you are like stuck in a maze, with portals, stairs, doorways, hidden rooms and much more hidden inside the building. And there is always a monster chasing me, trying to get me.

And in this book, they have just ventured out on a journey into the depths of this house, having some of the same characteristics as my dream house, and there is something there in the darkness with them.

*whimper*

Absolute love it at the same time! XD

But Theres No Rain
...stain the glass with windows, extortionate and cold stare...
