- The Delivered Diaries -

-- An Eevee Quest --
-In Progress-

A small black weathered book lay in front of you.
The ends are frayed, and a peachy white seeps through the scratched and torn parts of the thick cover.
Each crinckled orange dyed page inside holds weak inked letters. In each letter holds memories of sparkling crystal.
On the inside back cover on the bottom left corner a name is engraved, a name held together by gold letters bearing,
"Keavan ///////".
After the first name a black smudge oddly covers the area...

Diary Entry One: Hello...
Diary Entry Two: My Status...
Diary Entry Three: What Am I...
Diary Entry Four: Who Was I...
Diary Entry Five: Who Am I...
Diary Entry Six: Why Am I...

((Teigra: Concept is approved and I'd love to see you and Keavan here on the island. ^^ ))

- What Am I -
-In Progress-

Age: I am... at least Thirteen. Maybe Fourteen... I can't remember...
Name: I am... Keavan. Last names aren't necessary for Pokemon... Why should they be...?
Gender: I am Female.
Pokemon: I am an Eevee.
Beginning Stage: What? I am a Pokemon. ((Pokemon Eevee))
Body Description: I am currently very... thin. I have very thin terribly kept chocolate brown fur. My other fur along my fluff bulbs and on the tip of my tail is a light pale waffle brown. It is also thin, and my fur often falls out due to this unkeeping... My bulbs are no longer fluffy and soft. My bulbs are now shaggy and destroyed, but they still remain. My body is very long and lanky for a natural Eevee, so for being as thin as I am I look thinner. My eyes are pure black as a common Eevees are, but what most people don't realize is if you look close enough you can see small thin slits within the darkness..
As you may realize, I no longer am as cute and cuddly as Eevees commonly are portrayed to be...
Distinguished Marks: Yes... I have two black arrowed marks down my ears and down all four legs. I also have black rings on the outsides of my eyes.
Naturally Distinguished Marks: As an Eevee I naturally have big fluff balls around my neck. As an Eevee of my breeded family I also have these fluffy bulbs in much smaller sizes around my two wrists and ankles. (( If this is not allowed then there's no problem! (^^)> I'll just exclude it! ))

What am I Currently Like: ((Subject to Change)) . . . I don't talk if I don't have to..
Why should I? I like to think more than anything.. My thoughts keep me company. My true dream is to see my family again... That is if they're still in being... I admit I'm scared of death. Why shouldn't I be..? I don't like strangers.. It takes me getting used to.. I am obviously bad with trust..... And I'm not good in too stressful of situations...
That's who I am...

( - -, -) Journal Entry One: - - - - - Family
Hello. I explained this basis in the inside-cover of my journal, but I feel like specifying anyway.
My name is Keavan. I am female and I am an Eevee. I was given my name from a loving Eevee mother, and a caring Eevee father. Humans may not know it, but Pokemon are just as intelligent, we just have our own ways of understanding. Unless you don't understand, that means yes, I was truly given a real name from my real Pokemon parents. I don't have a last name. Last names seem unnecessary and human-copy-like to me. I am proud of being an Eevee, and so I do not take on a last name.
I am thirteen.

I was born in the forests on the borders of Pallet Town with four other siblings, one sister and three brothers. We were a very happy little family of seven, and life was as perfect as could be. We lived all together in a caved area held by strong dirt under the roots of a large tree. The forest edge that we lived on held perfectly shady plant life and soft brown dirt which was commonly dampened under the shady regions. Sometimes humans would come and feed us good food, one with white hair and white clothes specifically. I don't really know how I remember, but I do. I remember my father would try to help me first walk by pulling on my scruff. I remember when the family was cold at night we would all cuddle up into mothers warm fur. While we tried to stay warm father would go and collect food for us to keep us fed.
I don't know how I could have been so small at the time.

My most important memories are the ones with my family. There was no group of Eevees that I'll ever love more. There will never be another group of souls like theirs were, and there will never be memories that I'll ever cherrish more.
My sister was Leiku. She was always so kind and caring. She never seemed to do anything wrong, and I remember it would bother me. Mother seemed to watch her the most. Mother would always make sure she was ok if she tripped over her paws or scratched herself. Maybe it was because she was the smallest of the family.
My three brothers were Kauruke, Valuntau, and Sherri. All three were quite the trouble makers. I remember, if one was tired then the rest would be. If one wanted to playfully fight then the other two would. They were a complete unit.

My mother always said I was the most mischeivous. She said I even was a little worste than Kauruke, Valuntau, and Sherri sometimes. It hurts to remember, but she would say sometimes that I was a little mean. She said I was always getting into trouble and picking on defenseless Medapod and Kakuna. She said I also got jelious easily and enjoyed attention. There's where I really wonder though if I'm the same Pokemon.
I was the only one in my family who had been born with the ability of Adaptability. I can double my strength sometimes. My family all had a simple ability of run away.
It should have been the other way around.

- Why Am I -
-In Progress-

The Diary falls suddenly open to some random middle pages bearing more than just orange stained paper, but bearing a small white folded note as well. Inside the note the font was much neater and no chance Keavans. The note read...

Hidden Letter

It was all your fault, every bit of it. none of this would have happened if you wouldn't have existed, if you would have just disappeared, if you would have just died when you were supposed to!
Things would have been different, but in a good way! I may not even exist if you change and I even would prefer it! Prefer it over what you caused! You caused just as many problems as the Rockets themselves!

I know there's no reason in writing this, because you can't change what's already happened, but please, try to not destroy everything that lies ahead of your line... Please, try to think of your family! Don't be selfish! Don't be so Selfish!"

An unreadable name was scribbled at the bottom of the page, almost like a signiture, and the paper looked like it had been read multiple times; though still looked well kept.

Part Two:

-Keavan's first real building block was this post, which may still play into her life.

Crawling... Pawing... Falling... Pulling up the grass and stuffing it inside her mouth... Drool dripping down the cracks... Fur falling off her body as she moved...

There was dark brown fur wherever it was still willing to grow, and black tattooed markings around her eyes and arrowed down her ears, arms, and legs. Her fluffy tail was as rugged and destroyed as her pride, and her eyes were dimmer than any dead pokemons. She was so destroyed that she looked like she herself could be dead. She was an Eevee, and very mutilated.
Trying, pulling, struggling to pull herself up off the ground. They were all failed attempts. She fell, hit the ground with a thud, and closed her eyes. All hope in the world had been lost for her. So much had already happened to her and she had already been so young.

How could so much cruelty exist in the world? She thought to herself. How could you walk down a street with ribs as thin as sticks and no one realize it? How could you pass through the forest and see a trainer try to catch a pokemon for something as trivial as an electronic device? Wasn't there any love in the world anymore? Wasn't there any care? No... There was none... That's why she was alone... That's why they were destroyed.. That's why she was taken. And that's why she ended up on this unfamiliar place. To think... Working for some bizarre organization just to try and claim back her family; and then this. She was a pokemon though, not a human. What was she expecting? She should have just forgotten them... Left... Tried to forget... That's what all the other pokemon did. All the other pokemon that had their families stolen by the humans. Why was she so rugged?

She forced in a breath of hard cold oxygen and pushed out the excess air. It was so painful now to breath. The muscles in her body were barely there and her fur was on end.
They must have expected her to die. Beating her. Leaving her in that box. Throwing her out into the ocean. It was a miracle that she wound up on land. That is, wether miracles existed or not anymore. She probably would have preffered to die if she were not so scared of death.

Her ears reacted, lifting for what strength they had. Was it really that? Company? Strength naturally came for the few seconds that felt necessary. She had been on her own now enough to know that reaction was the second key to staying alive. Her legs pulled up, her paws pounced her back, her head twister her around. She did all the correct movements to turn around and sprint, but she was just too weak. The most she moved was a few feet before her legs twisted, her paws crumbled, her head fell, and she hit a tree; now leaned up against it uselessly. Energy was all lost, and although she was still concious, she could not move. She felt so pathetic...

There was a dark laugh. It was a man, or so she guessed. She didn't open her eyes. She was too afraid... She was out of spice, she was out of stamina. Her nerve was the number one thing that kept her alive, and she had none left. Now all she could do was helplessly let the thing in front of her kill her helplessly; and there was nothing she could do about it...

"Hello dear one." The dark voice said.

It sounded content with itself, and very proud. Now that she had heard his real voice she was sure that whatever it was it was definetly male, and surely taller than her.
She tried to move again, to run, but it was no use, she only struggled.

"You look as if you are about to die, young pokemon. Are you truly prepared for such a long journey?" His voice was harsh at first, but as he said these words they slowly became sweet and caring. There was malice and trickery in his voice that the Eevee could sense, but being in such a state caused her to bypass this.

"Death is such a harsh path to take, especially for one so young and with such a long life ahead of them. You could have an entire future devoted to something so full and so assisting. It's so sad that that all will be gone just to end now." The man seemed so caring, and yet so scary and harsh all at the same time, "Death. To Die. To End. I wonder if it's painful. I wonder if it hurts." This part he really drew on, and it was obvious that by now his kind of control was working.
"Don't you?"

A very cold tear slid down the Eevee's very thin cheek. She could not hardly move and she could not hardly speak, but this one single tear that she could bear told it all. Her bones broke from the bond and her neck bowed to the man.

"I work for a place called Cronus. There we will give you food and shelter." He highly emphasized these words as to make sure she understood thoughroughly, "In repayment for nursing you back to health and keeping you safe we only ask that you work for us and our facility." His eyes on these words narrowed and his voice became thick, but the Eevee didn't care anymore. For as careful as she always was she was more desperate than she had ever been in her life.

"Are you willing?"

The Eevee looked up at him now, thoughroughly inspecting the male human. He looked bizarre.

"To Survive?" He added after a minute or two. He knew as well as her that if she didn't accept that she would die.

Another minute ortwo passed. The man acted patient, but she saw control and impatience hidden in his eyes. She nodded jerkily. It didn't even occur to her that she could understand every word that he said. It didn't matter. She was going to live though. And that made her happy. Death was still upon her, but it wouldn't be soon. Aanother tear drizzled down her left cheek.

The man went to pick up the Eevee girl, lifted her onto his shoulders rather roughly, and then added one more comment before their silent quest to wherever they were going began, "One question. Do you have a name, Eevee?"

She closed her eyes. It hurt to remember. It really did. The pain of her moving muscles on his shoulders added to the mental pain as well. The dug deep into her memory.
She nodded, "Yes." She forced out with a wheeze in pokemon language, "It's Keavan." Her head fell. She blacked out.
