I will admit, too many people make Anime threads.
Having an Anime thread is not a rule or anything, so an actual person roleplay would be awesome.

I like the idea, but, whenever I see someone using a celebrity as a character, I usually lol'd really, really hard.

But I suppose that using celebrity pictures are easier than trying to find pictures of other non-famous people - without being so inconsiderate as to what they would think of you using their pic in some website.

This would be better than using an anime picture of a little girl in her underwear or of some teenage girl bending over that it almost looks like hentai.

I think everyone could use with something that defies anime.
