Terale leaped and missed the rather large rock he was trying to leap onto by a lot. He tumbled in a ball down the grassy hill. Down and down he rolled till he promptly came to a stop. He stood dizzily on his paws, swaying this way and that. How did he even roll into a ball?
He blinked, seeing doubles. He shut his eyes and shook his head from side to side. Terale opened one eye slowly, seeing that the doubles were gone he opened the other one. He looked up at the hill he had rolled down. It was a bit of a walk up. "Soooooo coooool." He grinned, bouncing.
"I gotta do that again. Yeah!" His eyes were bright, his tail wagged excitedly at the thought of tumbling down in a ball again. Way too awesome. But how was he supposed to get back up there? Well that was a problem. He pouted.

Thalassa has been sitting at the bottom of the hill when the little red-gold Numa had tumbled down it. She’d spent part of today at the bottom of the hill just relaxing and enjoying the time out in the fresh air. She couldn’t believe such a tiny thing would happily tumble so far.
Normally, she was so shy that her tongue tied itself into many m any knots, but since the little one was well, little. She wouldn’t feel dwarfed and awkward. Not that being small was bad, oh heck.. Making sense in her own brain was next to impossible! Chuckling softly, her wings began to flit a bit to propel her towards him.
The pout on his face made Thal smile and she spoke very softly, floating just a few inches off of the ground and several feet behind the boy. “Hello little guy, were you trying to roll down the hill just like that?” It was rather curious, to roll down hills that was.

Terale was still wondering how to get back up the hill. Whether climbing back up was smart or no. Hearing the voice, he turned away from the hill and stared. "You're huge! Bigger than any Numa I've ever seen before!" His mouth fell open in surprise.
He or she was very big, even bigger than Theo! Hearing the question, Terale eyed the hill again. "Didn't mean to roll down it but it was very cool!" He grinned up at the Numa, this one had big things from its back. Like butterfly wings, only not like butterfly wings.
"You can fly?" Terale sure hoped this Numa could fly. Just think of the things Terale could see! Oh wait, this Numa could say no. That is, if the Numa could even fly. Terale squirmed, impatient already for the response.

Thalassa began to blush as the little one pronounced her to be huge. Sure, her coat was rather fluffy but she didn’t think herself to really be that much bigger than any of the other Numas she had met.. Hm.. Maybe it was because he was really small?
The wings in question began to move a bit quicker when she spotted him looking at her. Maybe he thought they were what made her seem so much bigger? Well, that was a pretty good possibilitiy. Thal tried to still her wings a bit before speaking to him.
“Yes, I can fly pretty well… but I can’t swim very much.” There was something so very familiar about this little one in front of her, “I can’t imagine rolling down a hill and enjoying it very much.” Maybe she was just dull.

He felt like he knew her from somewhere else but that couldn't be cause he never met her before, right? "I don't know you, right?" He asked, maybe this one remembered. Hearing her words about flying make Terale stop his thoughts of whether they met before or not.
"I can swim great, can't fly. But you know....since you can fly and all.....it would be great if you could fly me back up there!" Terale pointed a paw at the top of the hill, grinning. "Then I can roll down again." Terale could already see himself, tumbling down that hill again.
Hearing her next words puzzled Terale. How could you not find rolling down fun? It was the best experience he had in a long time. "It's much fun! You'll try it when we get back up there. We'll roll together." He grinned even more.

Thalassa was struggling with the very same problem. The little guy was just so familiar to someone that she knew and part of her was itching to know who precisely it was. “You seem very familiar.. Who are your parents?” There.. Wouldn’t that help her know. She hadn’t met him…
Thal looked at the eager pup then up the hill that he was gazing up so longingly. “Well.. I just don’t want you to get hurt if I fly you up there.” Talking to this little guy was pretty easy for some reason, maybe it just took little ones to make her feel at ease.
“Roll down the hill too?” She smiled at the idea but hesitated before offering her hand to the smaller one. She wasn’t overly sure how well she could fly up the hill holding him, but if she could fly while holding candy how much more could this guy weigh?

"My parents? Liela and Souleater. Why? Who's you parents?" He couldn't help but ask why, Terale didn't understand why it could be important. But seeing that the female asked him about his parents, then Terale had to just ask about hers. Made sense, maybe.
He scratched at his fur tuft on his head. "But I won't hurt! Promise! Unless you drop me or something." Terale blinked up at the female Numa, "you're not gonna drop me, are you?" He sure hoped not.
Terale eyed the hill again and then he looked back at her, her paw was now reaching towards him. "Yep rolling. You'll be great at it, you'll go super fast since you're bigger." He reached one of his own paws towards her's. He grabbed hold of it. "Ready!" He grinned.

Thalassa suddenly realized why she was much more at ease with the little one. He was her brother. Part of her questioned why he was so tiny when she was fully grown… Wait, he would always be a pup unless they found one of those rare lollipops! It made sense now!
She grinned and picked up the pup to dance in a very careful circle then put him back down on the ground, “I can’t drop you.. Because I think our mom and dad would be very very upset with me for dropping you!”
Not coming out and saying it plainly would be good enough, right? She certainly hoped so but if he needed her to say it then she’d go ahead and explain it. Thalassa came back to her normal self and began blushing as she picked up the cub and gave her wings a few strong beats than usual. They lifted off the ground! Oh boy.. Here we go…

They were flying! The wind rustled Terale's fur and he breathed in the air, sighing. This feeling was amazing, he really wished he could fly as well but alas no wings. Terale was loving this a lot; however, something that the female said bugged him.
"What do you mean our parents?" He shouted, shouting because he was unsure if she could hear him in the air. "They're mine, not yours. You got your own!"

Thalassa made her wing strokes as smooth and big as she could. Her own body wasn’t all that heavy and it wasn’t that the small red-gold boy was heavy, it was just not the normal for her. When he started shouting she nearly plummeted because of the frantic beating that began. Frantic flapping doesn’t equate to smooth flying, you know.
Calming herself quickly she answered back in his ear as quiet as usual, “No.. Leila and Souleater are my parents.” Was that enough for him to realize the truth? They were brother and sister!

"What!!" He yelped. "That's....that's totally wrong! You're too big, well mom and dad are too but still you should be the same size as me." It was beginning to sound like whining but Terale didn't care. It wasn't fair if she was really his sister, she had everything then and he didn't.
The wings, the height, everything. "What's your name?" Terale knew all his siblings names, he made sure to remember them in case he ever met with any of them again. They could of had a blast, all of them being small and all. Though if she was really his sister then the rest of them may all be big! What if he was the only one who was small......?

The poor little Numa was making holding on a lot harder for Thal and more than once she thought that she was going to end up diving towards he earth to catch him. Luckily, her grip held and she managed to speak around the whining, wiggling, and yelling.
“My name… Unmph.. Is Thalassa.” Would the little fellow even know her name? She certainly had forgotten or just had never been taught the name of all her siblings. She frowned a bit and kept going as he had settled a bit and made for faster, smoother flying. Her brother was a pup still but she’d grown into an adult a long time ago. Did that mean her other siblings were small too? Oi.

"Thalassa!" Terale shouted. "Then you're....you really are my sister." Terale continued. She was, she really was related to him. Oh gosh all of them grew didn't they? He was all alone, so very alone. They were closer to the top of the hill now. "How'd you get so big?" Terale wanted to know, he needed to know why he couldn't grow.

She had a baby brother! Her smile grew and Thal fluttered just a foot off the ground at the top of the hill. Her face was entirely serious as she considered the little Numa for a moment. The answer came to Thal and it was said with entire honesty, “The Swan probably knew that she could not make you more adorable… and you were perfect this size.” It made her wonder about herself.. But that was all right. Terale was just lucky!

So close. Yet still so far, as his sister fluttered above the ground by a foot. Terale looked over at the grassy hill, his eyes fixated on it. "Adorable!?!" Terale whipped his head to stare open mouthed at his sibling. He found that comment to be very embarrassing. He didn't exactly want to be adorable looking, that would be bad. Well embarrassing bad.
"But I don't wanna be this size." He whined, childishly. "I want to be big, not little." Terale pouted, staring at the ground again.
