The fridge aventure Tarzan is handsome Tarzan is strong He's very cute and his hair is long Tarzan is handsome Tarzan is strong So listen to the jungle song"Got to love that part," nodded Inuki as she brushed her hair in front of the mirror of the bathroom. "Nothing like a good Aqua song to kick me out of the bed in the morning." Of course, morning for Inuki was 11am and that was considered getting up early. But will Tarzan have Jane? Stay tuned! Ayayayaya---bang!Stretching, the girl walked out of the bathroom for breakfast. She was still half asleep -brushing her hair cannot be part of an activity energic enough to wake her up- when she opened the fridge. "What could be good? Hmmm... Eggs. Yeah. Some eggs would be nice." She took out a badly closed egg box and opened it. Her first surprise of the morning: one egg left. Second surprise: it didn't look like a chicken egg either. "I don't remember buying bigger eggs. Actually, I don't even remember getting rid of the other eggs either." She took it up. Third surprise: a green symbol was drawn on it. Inuki dully blinked a couple of times before she actually remembered WHERE she found the egg. It was the morning she was late and fell through the mirror. She found herself in an odd place after someone called her for help in her head. When she took the egg, the greeny scenery vanished and she was sitting on her carpet, still late, her hair still a mess and the egg in her hands. She slapped her forehead. "Don't tell me I put it in the fridge before going to bed last night! I was so tired I mustn't have realized what I was doing. I'm so sorry," she said to her mysterian egg. She quickly got a blanket, made a quick bed out of it and put the egg on it, under the late morning light. "I hope that will do! Dammit! Why am I such a lunatic at times?" she said with her cute chibi face and her teary eyes.

Mysterious disappearance Another painful morning for Inuki. She was, by some miracle, ahead of time for a change. So she got up, dressed up, cooked breakfast and ate it. The hour to catch the bus was near when she noticed something horrible: the egg was gone from its little sunspot she designed for him the other day. Many scenarios started in her head. 1) The egg just rolled down the blanket. Nothing bad...except eggs break easily and whatever was inside could be dead by now. 2) Someone came here and stole the egg, thinking it was some kind of rare bird's egg! She will never find the thief! 3) Maybe another creature from the other side of the mirror managed to cross to her world and stole it in order to bring the egg back to its original world. What if she was the thief?! 4) She must have hallucinate the egg. Everyone knows that kind of thing can't exist... Right? The last scenario being deleted from her mind, Inuki searched the egg energically. "Noooo! Don't tell me I lost it! How can I lose something like that?!" said desperately Inuki, looking a third time in the fridge to make sure she didn't put it there another time by mistake. But no mysterian egg. Inuki was about to cry when she found her cat sleeping on his cushion, the egg between his legs. She kneeled next to him and carefully looked at the egg: it was intact. She sighed out of relief. "I don't know what kind of egg you are but you surely know how to scare me. How you got there is a mystery to me though. I'm positive that I never put you there last night..." When Inuki glanced at the clock, her bus already left. "Noooooooo!!! I'll be late again!! If this goes on, I'm going to lose my job!" She jumped on her feet, kissed the egg and her cat goodbye and rushed outside with her things. The cat just yawned and purred at the egg.

Rainy day "Ok... I can be a lunatic but this is getting ridiculous," said Inuki as she looked sleepily at her egg. This time, she found it in the fruit basket between an apple and a pear. She took it and gave it a glance that was a mix between exasperation and sleepiness. "I wish you could talk because I'm starting to have lots of doubt about my sanity here," Inuki said before yawning. She rubbed her eyes and put back the egg in her cat's basket for warmth. During breakfast, her brain slowly started to work again. She was wondering what could mean the symbol on the shell of the egg and its color. Green symbolized a forest... She always found it around something that came from nature: the eggs in the fridge, her cat and now the fruits. "What if it just missing its environment?" she suddenly said out loud. She glanced at the cat's basket and found it empty. Inuki fell down her chair. "Not again!!! Where are you this time?" Before going on another panic crisis, she decided to put her theory into practice. She searched her house near anything that could be related to the forest: plants, food, her cat's things and even her room (since it was such a mess, the egg could think it's a jungle). She finally found it in her backyard among the flowers. It was raining until a hour ago and the rain left a pleasant smell behind, specially around the flowers. Inuki smiled and kneeled down to take her egg. "If you are so lively now, what you will look like when you will be out of there?" she said with a giggle.

Guessing game Inuki poked gently her egg. She had it for some time now and it didn't cracked open yet. What kind of creature could it be? her mind wondered. Maybe I shouldn't believe it will be a creature from the forest. Just because I found it there and the symbol is green means automatically that it's going to be a forest creature. What if I was totally wrong? I know nothing about mysterians after all. With a sigh, she went to give her cat his food. Merlin could be very insisting when it comes to his needs. She also remembered the fear she had when she saw Merlin play with the egg. However, the egg never cracked. If it wasn't from its too frequent disparitions, she could start to believe the egg was empty. But this morning again, the egg was found near her bamboo plant instead of his improvised cushion. "Maybe I should put a leash around it already," she said with a sweatdrop over her head. "The last thing I want is to find it in the street, squished or see the children of the neighbor play omelet with it." But on the other hand, if the egg had teleportation powers (like she started to believe), a leash wouldn't solve the problem. She tried to tell the egg to not wander around too much but either it was deaf or couldn't hear her. The option of it ignoring her never crossed her mind because she didn't want to believe it didn't care about her opinions. When she came back to the table, the egg was again near her bamboo plant. Inuki grinned. "I think I know how to make you stop wander around until you show your pretty face," she said to the egg. She put the egg back to its cushion and put her bamboo plant next to it. "Let's see if my idea is correct in a few days," she said to Merlin.

Bamboo soothes the heart The egg stopped vanishing from his spot now that the bamboo was settled next to it. That was giving less grey hair to Inuki. Actually, she might find the egg in the bamboo pot or hidding in its leaves but never elsewhere like before. Merlin was even found sleeping next to the egg. Inuki grinned. "Even my cat likes it. That's a good thing I think." Somehow, she couldn't shake the feeling that the moment of peace will soon be disturbed.

A what? Like a zombie, Inuki raised from her bed. The night has been quite agitated and she didn't sleep well. Yawning and moaning, she managed to reach the kitchen. She pressed play on her cd player. The music of Witch Hunter Robin started to fill the kitchen and the dining room. The problem with Zombie Inuki was that she didn't immediately notice her surrounding. So instead of noticing the half crack opened egg near her bamboo, she prepared her breakfast, sat down in front of it and ate. After a few minutes, she stared at the rest of the egg shell. When she finally understood what that meant, she was suddenly wide awake. She looked everywhere for the little mysterian. Of course, she didn't know what it looked like but she had a feeling that she will know when she'll find it. After a half hour, she found the strange creature in the basket of her cat. Both of them were asleep, the creature hugging the cat like a teddy bear. Inuki sweatdropped. "Oh sure... Let a total stranger use you as a plushie. Why can't I use you like that?" She took a careful look at the mysterian. Snakes in her hair. Greek looking clothes. No legs. ... ... No legs?! "That's...a gorgon?" She poked the creature and she opened her eyes. "Mommy?" said the creature. "Hey there... Sorry to wake you up. Go back to sleep." She's so adorable!"Ok... The kitty is comfortable..." On that, the gorgon fell back asleep, hugging Merlin a bit more. Finally, I got to see her face! She's so cute! Inuki continued to be incredibly happy until reality hit her. What kind of name do you give to a Mysterian? A gorgon nonetheless!

The real fun begins After a lot of thinking, Inuki finally decided to name her Mysterian "Ceres". At first, she was opting for a name that would suit her hair color but she thought it would be too dull. Besides, Ceres suited her perfectly. Since she came out of her egg, the little Ceres grew a little and stayed glued to Inuki which was the total opposite of her attitude in the egg. However, Inuki didn't mind at all. Ceres was a nice young one though she seemed to be a bit depressive now and then in her comments. Merlin didn't mind to have a new companion around the house and stayed a lot around Ceres when Inuki wasn't home. But one day, Inuki came and saw Merlin stoned. Her heart stopped for a second and her first reaction was to look for Ceres to know what happened. "Ceres?" Inuki called. "Ceres where are you?" She heard some crying near her bamboo plant. She slowly walked toward it and saw Ceres trying to hide herself in the leaves. "I'm sorry... I don't know how it happened. We were playing and the second after...Merlin was like this. Please don't hate me..." cried Ceres. Inuki kneeled down and took Ceres in her arms. She wasn't mad to her but worried if they could turn Merlin back into fur and blood. "It's ok... Such problems will happen until we know how it happened. You're still young. Accidents happen," she told her. She could barely hide her worry about her cat. But Ceres was too shock to do anything like reverse the spell. "Listen, Ceres," started Inuki, "for now, we'll put Merlin in a safe place until we figure out what to do ok?" "He's dead, isn't he? When living creatures stop moving, they're dead. They said so in the square box..." Only a few days and television is already her god."Yes but Merlin is different. He's a statue. He's...frozen if I can put it that way." "So...he's not dead? I didn't kill him?" Inuki smiled. "Of course not. You just turned him to stone." She stood up, took Ceres and grabbed Merlin. "We'll think of something." However, without she could say anyting, Ceres put her hands on Merlin and stared at it. The snakes on her hair had glowing blue eyes and Merlin turned back to normal. He jumped down from Inuki's arms and started to clean himself, as if nothing happened. Ceres sighed and hugged Inuki more, happy that her guardian was right and that she didn't kill her kitty friend.
