Personality: Values all life. Doesn't agree with his brother's views. Doesn't believe in arguing with someone who "stays inside a box." His brother accuses him of being a drunk but he doesn't believe he is. Usually takes things seriously but after his brother dies, tries to take things easy. Absorbed some of his brother's personality after reversing him. Doesn't have much of a sense of humor. Always analyzing everything. Somewhat of a vegetarian (doesn't eat a lot of meat). Usually quite calm and at peace.

One day he asked to meet Kouken. They were comrades from a past battle. The Kouken arrived and asked him what he wanted. He recognized that Tahei had Issekigan already active and wondered why. Tahei said it was nothing, then fell over. The Kouken took him to his Medical Branch but they didn't know what was wrong with him. They found that he was only exhausted. He actually used Gyaku Kouhei on the Kouken to learn all Mokuzai techniques but they didn't know what he did so he left with all of the Kouken's knowledge. When the Kouken heard that Tahei was using Mokuzai techniques he realized why. He threatened to kill him but Tahei said "The only way to kill me is if you use a suicidal jutsu. Come on, it's not worth it. I know the jutsu so I'll be able to cancel it before you can execute the hand signs." The Kouken reminded him that he was a Super Ninja and Tahei explained, "You may be a Super Ninja but I have all your skills. Add all of my skills on top of that and that's how good I am." The Kouken told him that he's been removed off the safe list to enter the Mokuzai Forest and Tahei replied, "I understand."
Later on he jacks some equipment and gets cancel cannons.

Semi-auto sniper rifle with .50 cal free-floating barrel that fires super-sonic, BTHP open tip, Haniyasu coated, AP, sabot rounds. No sniper scope. Attached suppressor reduces sound, muzzle flash and recoil. Can be dismantled to use the barrel as a pole/staff.
